Hey Steve,

The following video may offer you the help you seek: https://rumble.com/v3pivtk-finding-a-wa-members-profile.html

Hope this helps you.

Thanks, Trish.

Steve

I agree with Abie! Type in the User's name on the top line! When you get to the top left hand side, you should see the "send message: button!

Jeff

Not sue what you mean by top line. I type the name inside the search box.

I meant the Top line search box, my friend!

The line with the magnifying glass next to it!

It is straightforward, to click the message button next to their profile.

Type your Subject and the message, and click send.

Did you actually read my message? There was NO MESSGE BUTON to click no.

Just Discard!

Looks like many here have given you some very good advice and guidance here…let us know if you have any further questions.

Hey Steve,

That's because you searched "diane scorpio" (without the quotation marks, of course). But then all you would have needed to do is click on ANY of those titles... then you would have seen the Message button to click on. See 1st screen print below...

BUT... had you used Diane's exact profile name, "DianeScorpio" (without the quotation marks, of course) then you would have been offered her profile where you would then click on the Message button. See 2nd screen print below...

Computers are logical, therefore both names are different to a computer.

Hope this makes sense and helps you.

AH-HA! Thanks Trish.

Much appreciated.

Steve.

You should be able to click the "send Message" button under her profile pic!

Jeff

That's wha I thought Jer, but there was no message button . Got the answer, thanks.

Steve

Okay, Steve! Glad to hear that!

Jeff

Look at the left side column you should see Following, right next to it is Message. You click Message then type it up and click send. Simple.

Working just fine

Why?

You need to click message button.

I would like to discontinue receiving traffic from an individual.

Thank you for your read.

It looks like this has been figured out.

if they are pm'ing you here you have the capability to block them...
go right to the top of the messages and find the down arrow and click on block
let us know if it is on your website...

Hey Steve,

If you're wanting to avoid traffic from a WA member, simply go to their profile and click the Following button to unfollow them. This way, you won't see any of their blogs, questions or training posted on the platform.

However, if that member comments on one of your questions, blogs, and or training shared here, then you will see them.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks, Trish.

Steve

The question is not clear; however, can you not unsubscribe from them? Is is an email subscription?

How do I enter a hyper link in a WA post so that the recipient can click on it and be taken to that URL location?

Please be specific in your instructions .

Phil has provided you with great instructions!

-Mike

When you're creating a WA post, there's a link icon that can be used to add a hyper link. Select the text first. You can specify both the destination and the text to display. However...

It often doesn't work when you're first creating the post. In that case, publish the post and then go back in and edit it. It works then.

Great instructions Phil.

Here's a screen print to help Steve follow your instructions.

So helpful, Trish. Thanks.

Thanks, Phil.

Much appreciated! Not all that hard when you know how to do it.

If that's an affiliate link, then you need to paste in the text interface of your block editor i.e. a custom HTML.

If a hyperlink, you may follow up on the other comment.

You cannot send a PM to a starter member vs. a premium.

You may need to click within the correspondence you have received.

Your question isn't clear enough. Can you clarify?

Hey Steve,

You do not need to ask the same question twice. I've responded to your query. I simply clicked on your profile image to get to your profile.

I did (and so did Brenda). Click the magnifying glass and search for the member.

Do you know the member's profile name? If you see the magnifying glass right after the Help, you type in the member's profile name. Then it will show up there. The magnifying glass is a search -if you type BrendaMZ, that's my profile, it will show up there. That's how, is that what you are asking?

I must be doing something wrong. I click on the magnifying glass. Then I get a search box. I type the member's name and his picture appears right below the search box, WITH NO MESSAGE BUTTON.

Thank you

Steve

Got it Brenda. All the responses solved my problem.

Thank you so much for your help.
