My Rank
I am desperately trying to reach the 100 mark on my rank. For the past two weeks I have fluctuated from a low of 104 back to 107. I am going backwards. What could be the cause of this?

I'm in the same boat . I was in the top 100 but I got booted out and it's been a struggle working my way back. It all depends on how active people near your rank are. I don't blog much, I never created trainings and I'm not on live chat much, so that'll impact my rank.
Good afternoon Sarah,
Yes, this ranking stuff is a world apart.
I started with something like 3000 and then suddenly, from one day to the other, I was 6500, do not know why and find it very strange. I really think the important thing is the creation of our websites and that these will produce some kind of income, the rest is decoration so to speak. Did you put those more flashy photos on your website?

...some very valid comments here, Sarah...I would not put too much stock in the real importance of "rank"...we're here to get our sites producing $$$...at least, that's what I am doing...Press On!
Some great comments here .. just keep doing what you are doing here Sarah and it will all work out. Cheers, William.
You are doing great and it is the whole group but Why bother as it is only a fun thing just do what you are doing and learn as that is what it is all about OK
Your rank is influenced directly by the activity of those close to you in rank - if you are more active, you drop in rank, if they are more active than you are, then you go in the opposite direction.
The other possibility is that they are adjusting the algorithm, which happens at unknown times in unknown ways.
I've also noticed once you dip below a certain threshold in rank, the increments of dropping become much smaller for the same amount of activity you were doing when you were above that threshold.
For instance, when I was above rank 300 the same activity would drop me by say 30 rank points for a certain time frame, but as soon my rank dropped below 300, that same amount of activity only reduced my ranking further by 10 points for the same time frame.
You're correct, jet. Before my break to move across country, I was rank 3, right behind Kyle/Carson. Each band of say, 5-10 rank points once you drop below 100 is extremely difficult to gain.

It would be because of the people ahead of you in rank are all working as hard as you do...
