When we put affiliate links on our posts should we mark them as Nofollow?
When we put affiliate links on our posts should we mark them as Nofollow?
Affiliate links are marked as "nofollow" to prevent search engines from passing ranking benefits to the linked site, ensuring compliance with SEO guidelines and avoiding penalties for unnatural link-building.
Hope that answers your question
Wow! It's nice to be finding this out now. I don't remember being taught this in the Core Training but I could be wrong.
Thanks Scott
I don't think Kyle talks about this in the training, not even on the Affiliate Links lesson (Phase 4 Lesson 3).
What about links that you just link back to one of your posts for example. Do you need to make the nofollow as well?
No, you want Google and other search engines to follow those links. Think of it as kind of like a spider web connecting one post to another post that has more information on that for example. Also for linking outside of your website to a article that supports your post as long as it's not an affiliate link.

Is there a way to get notification from your siterubix email (our website email) on you phone. I've only been able to get a sound notification from my desk top and NOT my phone
It is not an app, so there is no way to get it directly through webmail. You can set up any of your domain specific emails with Google Workspace though and that is something that I recommend that you do as you move forward.
There is a small cost for Workspace, but this way you can manage all of your domain emails through Gmail directly and our SiteSupport can help you set that up.

I have an affiliate link on there so I was just wondering.
You can do that. However, those are left for folks to enquire about how your site should help your target audience.
I'd keep the affiliate if it is relevant; often times I find that folks do promote WA on their about me post.
Abie
That's exactly what I did. I have WA promo button on there. However, I have no comments yet.

My website health says I need to improve speed by Finding unused JavaScript and CSS. I have no idea how or if I need to do this. If I do need to address this, is there traini

Is there a certain amount of posts you should have before using AdSense?
When you have substantial web pages (maybe then it's worth it), however, think about how much clutter it creates for a moment. Earning Pennies OR Dollars?
Earning Pennies or Dollars.....Is that a training video? If so, that link didn't work. Thanks again.
You do need substantial content before AdSense will approve you.
Personally, I don't like it because it hijacks your visitor for very little reward.

Always put nofollow for affiliate links
Okay Thanks!
Can you explain why. Thanks!

This should clarify.
