Thanks for the info. I must say that I found Izpowashere's comment rather disheartening.

We are all entitled to our personal opinion James whether we agree with it is another matter but live and let live is a good maxim to live by.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and enjoy whats left of your day.
Robert

I actually have 2 VAs now in my Staff of 15. I would NEVER hire a VA from the US, England or Canada due to limited skills and higher cost. And generally a poor attitude. This has been my experience over the last 10 years.

Where do you hire them from? I am looking into hiring one soon :)

Hello Jay and thank you for your comment.
I don't know a whole lot about VA's but there are some WA members who do this sort of work and we are a worldwide community and therefore from all three of those you mention.
Of course you will know that you get what you pay for and you will also know what they say about paying peanuts.
Thank you for your input and have a really nice day/evening wherever you happen to be right now.
Robert

This link from IMc is one possible place -

Go take a looksee.
Thank you for reading my blog.
Robert

I would greatly disagree with you here. There are a lot of very talented people in the US and the UK - however, most of them do know their value and worth and therefore expect to be paid what they are worth.

Hello Yvonne. I don't know who you are replying to but I agree with what you're saying.
I'm from the UK and I KNOW I'm talented and if I wanted to I could put a lot of WA members who profess to know everything to shame.
I know my limitations and what I don't know about I will put my hand up to.
Then I will go and do my due diligence until I can tell other people what they want to know.
I hope I do this through my WA Blogs as well.
Enjoy your Thursday.
Robert

Hi Robert
I was replying to Izpowashere

No probs. Your reply was directly underneath my reply so I wasn't sure.
Enjoy what's left of your day and please do read my blogs when I publish. I do try my best to give out accurate info.
Robert

Great information. Passing it on.

Hello Linda and where are you today - Mexico or Alaska?
Thank you for your comment and make sure you have a great day wherever you are.
Robert

Sorry it took so long to answer. I am still in Alaska, packing up the house so someone else can live in it. We have decided to lease it for a year to see if we want to sell and live somewhere else, like Mexico! So, not much time on WA. Will be heading to Mexico in ten days. Then I will get back to learning, possibly outside by the pool.
Thank you for asking.
You have a great day too!

Nice! Sounds like an easy way to start working from home.

I don't know how hard or easy it would be Jean as I have never got involved with it.
I suppose if you put the effort into it you can make some money from it.
Keep the wolf from the door as they say.
Thank you for your comment.
Robert

Robert,
This sounds interesting. Not so sure it's for me but I emailed Diana requesting more info. Thanks for sharing.
Erica

Hi Erica and thank you for dropping by.
There are quite a few WA members who do this as another income stream.
You might not make much if you don't get too involved but money is money, Right?
Thank you for your comment.
Enjoy the day.
Robert

Well, When I have learnt all about websites etc - what I had expected my VA to do for me, but she didn't - maybe I could sell myself as a VA. Joking. I actually want to do MY work and not work for others....

Hello Heidi and thank you for reading my blog.
I think you will get good ones and bad ones whatever you hire a VA for Heidi.
We live and learn and as you want to DIY then that is all to the good because you will learn from experience and that is always the best way.
You get someone else to do it for you - you learn nothing.
Enjoy your Wednesday.
Robert

Absolutely, I didn't learn a whole lot in the 3 years since the first big website was created for me. I learnt much much more in the 3 months I am here. Should have known this community 3 years ago, that would have saved a lot of money and a lot of my nerves....
Have a good Wednesday, too!

Calm yourself dear lady.
No need to be nervous here.
Just do your own thing and when you get stuck you ask questions and when that fails you read my blogs lol.
Enjoy you evening.
Robert

I am calm now, dear Gentleman, thanks to your kind advice. (lol)

No probs and when you get to the hair pulling stage you drop me a PM and I will help if I can and if not point you in the right direction.
Robert

Robert, you are great!
Strange to write that, as my previous husband was called Rober, too - wouldn't say that to HIM!

I have an Ex as well Heidi but we parted on good terms.
We were married for 30 years and it was reasonably good most of the time.
Have a nice evening.
Robert

Thanks for the info Robert, I will be emailing them later this morning. Hope you enjoy your bike ride today - the sun is shining here :)

Hello Dear lady and thank you for your comment.
Much appreciation now heading your way.
Whats this about sun - what sun may I ask?
Its really dullsville here in Edinburgh.
Hope it brightens up soon as I'm just back from my cycle ride and have to go uptown.
Take care Jude and stay safe.

I went to try VA work a few years ago but then I got another contract and it went on the back burner. It may be something else I think about to stop myself from contracting (100-200 mile daily round trips begin to get tiring). I've always believed in trying to have multiple income streams as if one is quiet for a few months then the others can sustain you. so thanks for the info

Hello Yvonne and thank you for your comment and input.
emerald860 who also commented has also been involved with VA work.
Perhaps the two of you can get together and compare notes.
Yes its always best not to rely too heavily on just the one income stream.
Enjoy your day.
Robert

That's actually my other part-time job, Robert! I've been a VA for over 4 years now. I didn't even need a website before now. All my work came to me through word of mouth. Things are slowing down a bit so I'm getting my VA website ready to launch.

That site you mentioned is very good. Thanks for sharing!

Alanna

Hello Alanna and thank you for dropping by and leaving a comment.
Always nice to hear from a member who is actually involved in these other internet jobs I blog about.
Good luck with your launch.
Have a great Wednesday.
Robert

https://www.onlinejobs.ph is probably the best place to look for a VA. That's where many of people who run affiliate marketing sites find their outsourced labour.

Hello Ian and thank you for your comment.
Thank you for your input and for the Link.
I'm sure that the readers of the blog who are interest in VA work will appreciate all pointers to more info.
Enjoy your Wednesday.
