SEO Principles
Once more I find myself writing about search engine optimisation. This is a simple explanation for those recent arrivals to wealthy affiliate who want to know about SEO. I’m almost positive they are not taking all the training coz most of the answers are in there somewhere. It’s just a case of doing the training step by step and eventually they will come to the SEO ones.
However I have about 30 minutes before I sign off for the night and its nice to be nice. So for you Newbies who have asked me…
SEO is the means for improving a website's ranking in search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing. The more time you spend on your SEO, the more chance you have of being on the first page of the search engine results. This is of course going to be your ultimate goal for your website.
One of the simplest techniques is having the right content on your site and altering it accordingly. By this I mean you must have a good idea what you have chosen as your target audience, who are they and what words do you expect them to type in as searches.
Lets say your niche is Real Estate, then people might be searching for your services under 'houses for sale, United Kingdom'. But there are many possibilities, and it is your job to come up with a list of keywords and phrases.
Once you have researched those keywords and phrases, your content can then be structured so that it is 'optimized' and SEO friendly. Other ways you can employ include linking, (both internal - within your own site, and external - other websites linking to yours) and utilizing meta-tags, subheadings, and website descriptions throughout your web pages. As a general rule with search engine optimization, 'content is king', so much of your success will depend on the quality of your articles/blogs within your website.
If you Right Click the pyramid and save it you will be able to see the small text more clearly or just right click and choose - open in a new tab.
Search engines do cater to marketers needs and regularly publish ways to increase their search engine visibility through good design, great internal and external linking strategies. If you stick to these guidelines you are more likely to achieve more long lasting, effective results for your website ranking.
If you can follow SEO strategies properly of course you should achieve a good web presence in search engines.
You'll be amazed at how powerful the results of good search engine optimization can be for your business folks so make sure you put them into practice.
Ok people I really do hope this is enough to give the newbies at the very least a pointer in the right direction. If anyone else has any advice or tip to pass on via a comment then please leave it. You never know it just might be the tip or piece of advice that gets them the number one spot with Google.

Thank You Robert. I use a Mac with a mouse pad. I copied and pasted thw Web page elements and the Pyramid in my onenote and filed the whole Blog..............lol............got it covered.

Hello Ray. I'm afraid the pyramid text is a wee bit faint but nothing I can do about it as the WA system doesn't enlarge images enough to see it full size.
Hope I've given you some useful tips though.

Hello my friend and an excellent post as you always give us and it is a great way to explain with the graphics - I am playing with Yoast and this had given me a new slant on things but I have dropped three pages back!!!!
