Is it considered SPAM to leave a training link url within a blog or comment here at WA?
Well it is misdirection I believe to leave a link about something other than what the blog may be about. Sure it is just to help someone learn, but the topic is different as Loes says below, then the one in question. So not even relevant to current conversation and I would be sending someone to my profile or page. Same as spam basically.
Spam doesn't necessarily mean we are trying to sell something. Just that we are trying to evoke a response,, will be enough I suspect.

I made that mistake too, but I was called back, that it's not allowed to leave links of any kind when it's not relevant to the blog or question

I do it all the time if my training is pertinent to the question. It's easier than trying to explain again when it's already been done as a video.
Would not directing one to another's profile loss some revenue if they were sign up for wa on that persons site or buy something from their affiliates, etc?
We're talking about linking to training which I do if the training will help to answer a question. I also link to other people's training if I think it will help.

We're talking about linking to training which I do if the training will help to answer a question. I also link to other people's training if I think it will help.
Won't that still make them curious to start surfing their site?
