Hi!

I have tweaked my settings in my WP site and succeeded in removing the dates on my posts.

I want to display them again but couldn't find my way back.

A

Go to Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS and remove the code you added previously.

Hi Marion!

Thanks for the tip.

It's however under Thrive Theme's Blog Settings that I was able to turn it back on.

Thanks again.

Jojo

I'm glad you got it sorted. I switched themes a while ago so I don't have those theme options anymore. For anything I need to change that isn't push-button easy I use custom CSS code.

Noted on that Marion.

Thanks!

Hi Jojo,
It should be under settings, then general.
Cheers,
Suzanne

Thanks Suzie!

I actually tried to do changes in Date format but it still didn't show the date on each post.

I have asked the help of Thrive Themes but have to receive their response yet. Just wondering if I could pick up a few things here.

Thanks again Suzie!

Hi!

Are there official tutorials by Kyle, Carson, Jay, etc. about Clickbank?

Where can I find them?

If not, is there a particular reason why?

While

My go-to when I'm looking for information about something here at WA is the search bar above. When I read your question, I immediately went there, and typed "Clickbank". There are success stories, tutorials, and more.

There are no "official" tutorials on Clickbank, but the principles from the main courses apply to Clickbank and other Affiliate Networks. The "clickbank-specific" courses are by members.

Best wishes.

Hi!

I agree. That's what I also did.

Nevertheless, my question remains. Are we being discouraged to promote Clickbank products? If so, what are the alternatives?

Thanks!

No. We're not being discouraged from promoting Clickbank products, but there are better affiliate networks out there. Some alternatives I use are Flexoffers, CJ Affiliate, Independent companies, and Shareasale. There are more networks that are good out there, but these are some of the ones I really like.

If there are "official" tutorials from Kyle and Carson, they are probably old. Clickbank was hot stuff back in the day, but nowadays it's *mostly* junk. You can access their affiliate program in the affiliate program list here in WA, and there are plenty of member-create tutorials as well.

Here's one I created: You'd probably a CB product just like any other one out there! It just depends on what the product is, what your niche is, and what your audience is looking for.

Hi Nathaniel!

Watched your entire video.

It's basically the same method that I use in digging for CB products. I also use Jaaxy and Google to analyze the keywords and competition before I decide on a product.

I also agree that ethics in promoting products is key.

I definitely don't want to make money while making others suffer because of poor quality products.

Thanks once again. I guess I'll keep on digging for great products.

Maybe later on I'll also make a tutorial on how to make money in CB without ripping others. : )

Thanks once again.

Jojo

Hi!

Can I write blogs in WA and use all or a portion of it in my blog? Isn't it indexed by Google? Will we be penalized by Google if we do it?

I might just think

Just chiming in that @DianeScorpio is correct.

Thanks Nathaniel.

I have noted it.

Thanks!

Hi - no, you can't do that. It will be seen as duplicate content. All content from WA, except private messages and live chat, is visible on Google.

Hi Diane!

Thanks a lot for this valuable information.

It saved me some time and exposure.

See you around...

Jojo

Nop they aren’t indexed.. The post inside WA don’t go on google, they are to build a community,

But if you creat an article in the menu of Site Content and publish it on your website that will get indexed,

Follow true training and you will learn all about that..

Wishing you the best..

Sector

Hi - that's not correct actually. WA is a website like any other and all the content published here can be found by Google including blog posts.

Thanks a lot Sector.

I'll proceed to my trainings indeed.

It's just that these questions pop up ahead of those modules.

Thanks again.

Hi!

I tried the Thrive Builder as well as its Thrive Leads before and realized it was a great tool (although I haven't maximized it).

It makes me admire others' s

You cannot use Thrive Builder in SiteContent, but you can use it on WordPress websites hosted here. You'd have to log in manually into your WordPress website to use it.

Thanks Nathaniel.

Can I suggest something like that in Kyle's question in Site Content?

Thanks!

Absolutely. Thrive is a very popular plugin, so there's probably demand for it within WA.

I doubt they will integrate plugins at this point, or any time soon, since there are more pressing additions people are asking for, but definitely add your comment. He reads them all, and I'm always surprised at what they're working on in the background.

Absolutely. You can use any theme, plugin, etc. made for WordPress as long as you work on your site directly through your WordPress account.
Tom

Thanks a lot Tom!

Will try Divi as well.

See you around...

Jojo

You're welcome Jojo!
Tom

I just edited my previous answer for clarification since you can’t do it in SiteContent.
Thanks

Hi!

I am currently working on a site hosted in Bluehost.

It's a brand new one but I don't mind transferring it.

Pls. advise how it's done.

Thanks!</

"Transferring" a domain is a very specific thing, so I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're trying to do. Let me explain.

1. If you bought a domain at a registrar outside WA, it's not required that you transfer the domain here for it to work. In fact, if you just bought it recently, there's likely a 60 day hold when you cannot transfer if. If this is the case, you need to "change the DNS" of your domain to get your website working properly: 2. If you bought a domain at WA, you do not need to transfer anything, therefore do not need any transfer codes. Your domain is here already, and the DNS is already set up correctly.

If this is the case, perhaps you are trying to "redirect" your siterubix domain to the .com you just bought. Kyle explains how to do this here: 3. If you bought a .com domain name from another registrar a while back and are trying to transfer the domain name to WA, the process varies depending on the registrar you used. Two popular ones are Namecheap and Godaddy. 4. Finally, if you are trying to "move a website", that's an entirely different process. My recommendation would be to contact SiteSupport. They will move one website for you for free! https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Thanks Nathaniel!

It was more of moving a website.

But i have decided to create a new so I can roll with the training already.

I’ll just copy those articles in my new site and make another site in my Bluehost soon. I paid for 3 years there so it’s a waste if I can’t use it.

Thanks again.

Just keep in mind that copy-pasting articles from one site to a new one will hurt the new site. If you're starting fresh, you should start 100% fresh.

If you want to import the content, you should do a redirect to the new domain.

Depending on what you want to do, SiteSupport can help with some of the process. From what I understand, you want to continue working on your current site, but on WA hosting. You can do this, and SiteSupport will move the site for you. You'd still have your BlueHost account active for any other websites you want to build there.

Otherwise, I'd recommend starting with a brand new domain and brand new website which you can build here inside WA.

Let me know if you need any further explanation or help Jojo!

Hi Nathaniel!

That's what I'd be doing. I'll create a brand new site with a brand new domain name.

What I meant with copy-pasting is to copy the text version of the articles to my WordPad and paste it to the brand new WP site's Text space. That way, it's just like directly writing it to the new site.

I hope that's a better option.

Thanks!

If the content is published already on your old site, then I would advise against it. Google would see your old site as the original publisher, and your new site as a copy cat. If that's the case, it would be best to rewrite the article even though it's on the same topic.

If the article is not published, then you can copy/paste without any worry. Google hasn't seen it yet!

Hi Nathaniel!

The site is in Coming soon page as of now.

When my new site is ip, I’ll bring down that site in BH.

I will copy paste the article in my new site on a later date when my old site is totally taken down from the net.

Will it work?

Thanks!

Jojo

If your site just says "coming soon", and the content is not published, then you can copy/paste the content without issue. The only issue would be if Google already sees the content in search engines.

To manually see if you're indexed in Google, you can search for "site:mywebsite.com" in the Google search bar, and it will show you all the indexed pages for that domain.

Thanks for this tip Nathaniel!

I tried it and saw it only indexed Coming Very soon pages as well as those that were used as demo pages of the theme.

I guess that's good to go. Right?

Thanks!

Yes, you're good to go Jojo! You can safely copy your content over.

Thanks Nathaniel!

Have a pleasant day!

Read DNS settings as ns1.mywahosting.com and ns2.mywahosting.com

You want to transfer domain or Hosting? Domain can be transferred but hosting can not.

Now if you already have a Wordpress site and want to transfer the site to WA, you can use a back up and restore plugin. Take the complete back up of Wordpress site and save backup files in your computer.
Next step would be to create a website here using same theme. Install same plugin and restore your website.
You can also use the domain purchased from BlueHost or any other domain seller for WA website without transferring.
In that case you will have to point your Domain name towards WA website by changing DNS settings. DNS for WA are ns1.mywahosting.com and ns1.mywahosting.com

Regards
Arun

That's probably what I'll be doing Arun. Just point the DNS to WA.

Thanks a lot!

Jojo

I didn't try this before but I will go with what Lawrence Hill said, you can definitely transfer it to another platform.

You have a lot of options due to the fact that they are all Wordpress format.

You definitely can transfer it from bluehost to WA. But i've never actually used bluehost.

If you type 'bluehost' or 'transfer to WA' in the grey search bar at the top of the screen then you should find your answer.
