Hi Everyone,
I have had a couple of unsolicited comments from users with webemail24.com email addresses, they appear to be regular comments but they seem to be an SEO compa
if you want to approve them for now then turn off trackbacks and they will not get any seo benefit...
but if they are jsut touting for business then maybe delete
Hi Pete,
If the comments are helpful and align with your post, and can be answered by you, then go ahead and approve them. If you see any links in the content then do not approve it - comments should be link free.
External comments are great, it means you're getting organic engagement and it means your post has been found in the search engines.
Should I approve comments from webemail24 email addresses?

You are covered here, Pete! That's a great question... Often, they want to offer SEO services, whereas WA can teach you how to do that in-house without needing additional service.
I'd leave it to your judgment going forward :)

Is there an easy way to add email addresses created for websites in WA to the New Outlook?
I have been on the Microsoft info page and tried using the SMTP settings but nothi
Hey Pete,
Probably because you didn't phrase your search question properly... and, you're not alone. We've all made this mistake before.
If you are referring to your domain email address, that would be the best way to phrase your internet search. See screen print below...
For any of the boxes you don't know the code needed, a detailed, properly labeled question to SiteSupport will get you the help you need.
Hope you find this helpful.
Thanks Trish and yes that's exactly what I was looking for, think I might still need to contact site support though as I have tried everything I can think off to get it connected
Thanks though
Pete

Hi Everyone,
I have started experimenting with LinkedIn and I recently had a question in a comment on my post. I wanted to add my Wealthy Affiliate link in my reply but when
Hey Pete,
As far as I am aware, the only platform that allows affiliate links is Twitter. However, I asked your question in my favourite search engine... see screen print results below...
Hope you find this helpful.
Thanks Trish,
I had a bit of a panic moment as didn't expect it to happen the way it did, Abie came through really quick with a great solution but I will also check out Google :-) later for those resources
Cheers
Pete
You may want to check the terms and services of LinkedIn and if you are permitted to do that.
Try to use a URL shortener and add #ad to replace an affiliate disclosure.
Thanks Abie and thanks for the additional info as it is really helpful and very much appreciated
I tried the URL shortener and that worked, thanks for a great tip. Unfortunately the person has already replied to thank me and has said they have already clicked onto WA ....
Hopefully they clicked my link rather than the image
Cheers
Pete
Yeah they'll get notified and may check it out later, or some others may read the comments :)
Perfect! I am happy for you

Hi Everyone,
I am sure this is a really basic newbie question but a couple of days ago I had a couple of "referral" visitors to my website. What does this term actually mean
Woohoo, congrats, that's really great work. (As in referral links to your WA)
Now, you've got to greet them, make them feel welcome, and answer any questions they may have.
Suppose they later upgrade to a premium or premium plus subscription. In that case, you get commissions, provided the transaction follows WA guidelines and terms of service, and they remain subscribed to the platform.
Otherwise, you have FANTASTIC responses here; kindly let us know if you require additional assistance.
Thanks Abie but it was actually a visitor to my website that was through a referral and i couldn't figure out where they were referred from. Have it sorted now though and learned something new in teh process :-)
Cheers
Pete
Thank you, Pete :) I am aware, but I wanted to share another perspective... I am glad you have it figured out now.
Hey Pete,
How many different platforms are you asking questions on!!!
Hahahahhahahahaha!!
I answered this "elsewhere" for you, but here's the copy and paste:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
referral traffic = your link has been placed on another website and someone has clicked on that link and arrived at your website.
This could be a social network where it hasn't registered on "social traffic" in analytics, this could be another website that has linked to an article on your website, but the most likely for a WA member, who has a fairly new website, is that another WA member has clicked through to your website either from you requesting a comment, requesting feedback, or having your website url in your profile.
Hi Pete! I am trying to answer to your question!
Generally, referral visitors are those who reach your website through a link generated in an affiliate program.
For example:
I have a shop on Zazzle which is part of their affiliation program. When someone wants to promote my shop, that person creates a link with his/her identification number so that > every person that comes to my shop thanks to his/her promotion is shown in stats as "referral" (and if I have a sale thanks to the traffic they brought to my shop, they will get a commission on my sale).
Have you registered your website in any affiliation programs?
Thanks Suomii,
I am registered on a few affiliate programs but only for me to recommend them not the other way around. I was trying to figure out who might have referred someone to my site. I am sure there must be a way to track this in but I haven't figured it out yet.
Cheers
Pete
