Hey WA friends,
I decided to create an ongoing series called “Promoting Intangibles.”Intangible products are the opposite of tangibles ones! This niche involves quality of life education, coaching, consulting, spiritual teaching, among other things. And those who are in this niche are immediately at a loss as to how to promote it through affiliate marketing. Maybe this ongoing series can bring clarity to our pursuits, especially if you are committed to a writing ministry.

The WAer who is promoting an intangible is someone who wants to convince another person of something and not just sell a microwave. Speaking to a gathering about your convictions is critical to this endeavor.
Public speaking can be many types of events such as conferences, retreats, luncheons and even table talk. It's simply a gathering where you are giving a chance to speak..maybe a coffee shop gathering.
There are events where you are the featured speaker or a seminar speaker or just given a chance to share. It is very important to seek (and even create) such opportunities because it can produce immediate results. You have the chance to inspire a captive audience.
And this inspiration can lead to all the things you want such as the collection of the emails, selling products (intangible products - to be mentioned in part 4), signing up for services you provide, networking, and most of all creating another opportunity to speak.
You should always go into an event having the goal to speak again. Never give everything in your first shot.

I have actually spoken in a public presetation, a whole 2 times, lol! Once I was asked to share an experience at a home school convention and once I gave a class on 4H at a home school convention. Great times!
lol! Well the first opportunity came when Dr. Raymond Moore asked me on the spot, so had no chance to prepare the butterflies! :) And since our experience as a club was with rabbits, rabbits seemed more appropriate, lol! :)
