I am a network/online marketing professional. Just been through a few days of another group I won't name and knew there has to be a better way to connect with people. I want to create an online presence so I can build a bridge to other people, create a lifestyle for myself so I can inspire others do the same, without having to break the bank. I'm so glad I just found all of you.

Like a lot of people my husband and I are zoomers and while we will do okay with our current income and pensions, okay isn't where we want to be and I know there are lots of people like us.

My husband loves all things train, including model railroading and I am an artist who has neglected that part of my life for too long. We are looking to build a house in the country on a few acres, well 40 to be exact. Big enough to plant a couple of very old, retired passenger rail cars that can be converted to house his model trains.

We have 3 great grown-up kids, and 3 grandkids we just don't manage to see enough. That's a big reason for working as hard as we are right now. We also have 3 more 'kids' but they have 4 feet not 2.

My husband is retired Canadian Air Force. I forgot to mention that we are Canadian. He served for almost 25 years. I spent a lot of years in the corporate world. Most of it as a Purchaser/Inventory Manager supporting everything from automotive to oil and gas.

Another big part of our desire to create a bigger financial life for ourselves is to be philanthropic. We have a child we support overseas, in Africa, but we want to be able to do the same on this continent.
