I have to admit I have watched the many disasters that happen around the planet on the news, TV and internet with some of shock and sympathy. But there is a feeling of being separated from it. I was reminded of an old adage as I listening to a webinar this morning. "Facts tell, stories sell." The speaker was making the point that we need to tell our story. How many of us ever share our story? Not so much what we do but why we do what we do. For me it was a good reminder for when I write, or when talk with someone, including myself.
