A little bit about my personal career background is that I have done Home Support as a Residential Care Giver for adults with Disabilities for the last 17 years. it is pretty much what I have done since I was straight out of high school until now. Along with being a care aid, I also have my certification as a Family Support worker credited by a local Aboriginal family service agency called Indigenous Perspectives here on Vancouver Island.

I have an undergrad in Sociology and Political Science. What does that give you career-wise? Not sure, but I loved Sociology. I moved out to Vancouver Island to attend Law school. I decided I was more fascinated with the conflict mediation that could take place outside of the judicial systems, or before it gets to that! I decided to do a Masters degree here instead of in "Conflict Analysis and Management". I think the title of this MA is too assuming because although I was a diligent student and graduate of this program, I do not ever want to adhere to manage anybody else's conflict. Instead, I like to focus on helping groups of people build up the capability to manage their own conflict and built up a capacity to handle future conflicts.

I volunteered on a few local independent film sets around my city. I was usually working one of two roles. I was either assistance to the main camera operator or I was assistant operation assistant. It was in this last role where I really got to put my communication skills at work! On a film set, there is a lot going on at any given time, with all the behind the scene - crew (camera operators, grip, and sound staff) and actors, makeup/costume and "extras" in all different areas. I was running making sure messages where being delivered and everybody was understanding everybody else. I enjoyed this role because I could tell I was good at it and was commended for doing a good job! The films I worked on went on to be in Film festivals anyways, this has some significance because many independently shot films never see the light of day!

I will elaborate more on my career section soon. My time on WA is quite limited as i have 3 girls. To stay efficient and productive I have to chip away a little at a time and set daily goals. Or to be more specific, nightly goals as the work usually gets done at night when all three of my little tikes are in bed.

At the moment I'm trying to put together my Online collectible book store: AshTreeBooks.com. I want to be a unique site, in that with the Collectible or Antique book that I'm posting for sale, I encouraging those viewing my product to look at other posts selling that same novel. So I am currently working on getting affiliate links up to others selling online on Amazon and Ebay. I am also working hard at getting one Collectable book up online a day. I also want to start a " book blog" section where I talk about anything of interest to book lover/collectors.

I would also like to go back and revisit another site I started reviewing Water Toys as that was so much fun! And I never really gave it the chance it deserved.

Anything that requires coding is a real struggle for me right now as that is completely new to me! I have to ask a lot of questions and try to ask the WA community first so I do not drive Site Support bonkers.

Oh, and now my oldest daughter wants me to help her start a slime website. Making slime and reviewing ingredients to mix into it. So that is fun because she is into wanting to make You tube videos. I have no idea how to edit video so it will be a fun challenge to help her with this adventure. .

So if you add me, that is wonderful, but only do that if you will not be annoyed with someone who is constantly asking QUESTIONS! :) :) :)

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

I am going to write a review on all-terrain jogging strollers.

I bought an all terrain stroller for each of my two girls when they were young so I feel I have a decent amount of knowledge to impart on the topic.

Also its a higher priced item that can be bought on amazon so feel like the ability to make commission is there.

The only thing I need to think through is that I am only very knowledgeable on the brand of all terrain strollers in which I purchased. But a review you have to contrast and compare. I will have to get creative here I think. Perhaps read other people's reviews.

I have a small list of niche ideas I could roll with but this is the one I thought id first start with.

This week is quite busy for me so my goal is to digest one lesson a day. That is what I can commit to at the moment with balancing full time overnights, the family and SLEEP :)

Exactly, it would be a bit much for a person to buy EVERY product or service related to their niche.

You can certainly visit other reviews and websites for influence when you are creating your reviews/posts.

As far as the list of niches, I would try to narrow this down to one so you can really dig in and focus on that.

Now is a good time to research your different ideas, kind of like you did with the pricing of the all-terrain strollers. Now, are people actually searching for these? What does the competition look like?
