What do you guys think would be a good background image for caraudiohelp.org and how would I go about adding it?
I use both a background image and header image on my site. I use the speed test application at https://www.webpagetest.org/
to see if the images cause the page to load slowly.
My problem is two applications slows the load speed down. I need to consider fixing these.
I think background image and header image are different things. I would not use any background image, it will slow the site down.
I was worried about that just because of the size it would have to be. Appreciate your quick response, I think you've helped me make my decision.

How do I add an image to the header?

A picture of a car in the header would be great. Just go to http://freeimages.com and pick one, download it then up load it to your site.

Just wandering how often rankings were updated? Is it hourly, daily, weekly? And is their any significant key factors to be aware of?
As PatLemy said; it's done at some point every 24 hours.
But I agree with VeronicasLuv confusion about how the algorithm works.
I have sometimes had big jumps in my quiet periods and small jumps when I'm active. But it all depends on how much you give to the community.
And as your ranking number gets lower, you have to elbow yourself forward within a group of very dedicated people, so the move will go slower.
Hey Jeff,
It's my understanding that any activity you engage in this platform, gets tracked, for lack of a better word. So, any time you create a blog/post or training, leave a comment, answer a question, or when people "like" something of yours, it all gets stored into the WA algorithm. There have been days when I was very active, and only jumped a few points; other days I've jumped 10 points or more; this week, I've stayed at the same rank for the last 3 days. My biggest jump was 30 points overnight! I still don't have a clue how that happened!
I think that after you reach a certain ranking, you have to be more engaged to move; it was easier for me to move from Top 200 to Top 100, than to go from Top 100 to Top 50. It can get a bit confusing at times, but I find it fun....it's like a little game! In reading over your bio again, it seems like you have a heart to help others, so you will do just fine Jeff!
All the best!
