Tell me your ONE goal for today
Did you know new members cannot write more than 1 blog a day? The restriction is lifted when you hit 3 months here. Are you elated when the restriction is lifted? Do you blog several articles a day?
Here I am not advocating to blog tons and tons of useless stuff everyday, that would be an insult to the WA blog. I have been here 4 months but I have not really blogged that many articles here, and it's mainly because I only write when I have something to say. (That shows how empty my head is most times LOL)
I rather write one article (with my sincere thoughts) per week than 10 fluffy blogs a day.
In the past few weeks I have been occupied and have not worked much on my website and I have seen an impact because my webmaster tools shows zero data. I am not getting visitors! My website is still relatively new and what it lacks is quality writing. So I have decided to improve my writing skills and WA blogs provide the best training platform.
Today I met a member who has written over 700 blogs and that inspired me much, so that will be my goal for today - write a blog, and this is it. Considering that I have achieved my goal for today (sly smile on the side), it's time for me to take a break and work on setting a goal for tomorrow. It might be tweaking my website, it might be doing a training, or reading a book, anything that helps me improve and if I kept at it consistently, I believe I will succeed in the internet marketing field one day.

Get written on my 2 articles and of course written a little further on my book. I've made my pictures so it's not today. My goals for the future are to make many more videos
Set small achievable goals each day and just focus on that. One day we will achieve our big goal!

Your goal everyday is to post relevant information as and when you see it? Is it on WA or on your website?
That's great! If you can consistently do that every week, at the end of one year, you can take a review and be amazed at the number of articles you have churned out.
I've always felt the best way to practice writing is just write, write, write. Don't be afraid to hone down that writing technique writing directly for your website either. I write much more for my sites than I do the blog here. If you can write 2-3 posts for your website per week you're in a good spot, and then the blog here can be a spectacular spot for your progress reports and anything positive. When you build up the community you're building up WA. And that's positive for everyone :)
My goal for today was to publish one post, and get it out to the masses. My next goal is to reward myself with a couple cold beers and watch a movie!
The funny thing is I can write better here than for my website. I don't know why. Maybe it's because we all have similar goals here and my post are more geared towards what I am learning here in WA, whereas for my website, it has a much wider audience and I often spend too much time on research. Any tips you can share to overcome this obstacle?

What's helped me, personally, is to not picture the vastness of the potential internet audience, which we know is HUUUUGE. I think that could work for you. Just like you're nice and relaxed writing here, picture the same audience reading your stuff over there. And in a sense, with site comments and the comments forum, we really are the first ones to go read it, before the masses arrive.
Just like with public speaking, most people hate being in front of the huge audience, but with your website, you don't have to see them. So enjoy that and write relaxed. You're a good communicator. Write relaxed and I think you'll do great :)
