Good Signs From My Organic Traffic
I check Google Analytics regularly to keep up-to-date with the progress of my site and as of today, 34% of my traffic is organic traffic. Of the four sources of traffic presented, it is the highest and about three weeks ago, it was about 27% and producing the second highest volume of traffic.
I have learnt a few this from this data. Firstly, it reiterates the fact that if we follow the lessons here at WA, we will succeed because therein lies the evidence that at a few of my keywords are working for my site. Secondly, now that I know which pages and posts are receiving the most traffic, I can tweak them to make them more engaging. I also know which keywords are not producing results and will focus on strategies to try to improve their impact.

Congratulations! I need to review the training on Google Analytics because I just can't seem to understand what my reports are telling me.
If you feel the need to revisit the training, that is fine. I actually came to an understanding of Google Analytics on my own, by logging on regularly and clicking around at and reviewing the different stats.
You know what, I meant to ask you, what is that pie chart under. I can only find my new and returning pie chart. I know I have seen it before, but I can't find it. Or is that the pie chart that is suppose to show it..if so, not good. Lol..
In the menu on the left of the screen, you'll see "Acquisition" at the bottom. Under that click "Overview" and you'll see the pie chart there.

Okay, I went and looked. I have a whole 3.1% organic. Have a good number for social, guess I am too good of a blogger. Lol...
Have been making some site improvements, so we shall see how it goes. Thanks for the help. :))
For some reason my sessions were 903 yesterday, now they are 846 today...technically not possible. I don't know what this is all about. Seems like I heard someone mention Google doing some maintenance over this weekend, so I will wait and see on Monday I guess.
Thank you for sharing this with us. Organic traffic has been one of my top concerns and your words/results are very reassuring.
They are not that great, only 5% but my site is only two months old and I know that things start to pick up around 6 months usually. So I'm patiently posting and getting my site ready for when the traffic does start to trickle in.
My site is new as well, only about 4 months old. I too am waiting for thing to get better so I'm there with you.
