I joined an affiliate site and it asked me to enter a Javascript tag so I can verify ownership of the website. I'm pretty confused with what to do with this.
How to enter a javascript tag for affiliate verification?

Hey Mike,
You could use the following video training: Why Use Headers and Footers Plugin to help you do that.
Hope you find this helpful.
That looks so easy. However my theme has footer widgets. Do I use them and use the 'Custom HTML' feature?

Have you tried to change it from SiteManager?
Select Websites, from the left side, select the site for which you want to change the password, select 'Log In' button and on the new window, you can reset the password.
Does it make sense?
yes, I was wondering if that was the same password. Can it be changed there to one of my choosing?
Hi Mike,
In the Administration Screen, menu, go to Users > All Users.
Click on your username in the list to edit.
In the Edit User screen, scroll down to the New Password section and click Generate Password button.
if you have Javascript disabled or broken, then you will get the normal New Password and Repeat New Password fields. If you have Javascript enabled and running normally, then you only get the Generate Password button.
Also,
If you know your username or the email account in your profile, you can use the "lost password" feature of WordPress.
Go to your WordPress Login page (something like http://yoursite.com/wordpress/wp-login.php)
Click on the Lost your password? link
You will be taken to a page to put in some details. Enter your username or the email address on file for that account.
Wait happily as your new password is emailed to you.
At the bottom under Account Management I only have a Sessions section, nothing for passwords. I updated my profile for an Admin pic through Gravatar and then came to change password only to not be able to find anything. It does say admin below my name though.
Hey Mike,
That option has been removed recently (even when adding a new user!), and I can only assume it is due to tightened security for the hosting server.
If someone hijacks any of our websites, they will not be able to reset our passwords... which is a bonus.
