Making the climb
Hows it going for me? Whats on my mind?
I'm working on my content for my website. Geared towards home fitness is my niche.
I've been thinking maybe it's a little too broad lately. In the midst of writing my posts they seem to get a little long. I think the last one was over 1500 words. I had a hard time limiting the writing on how to create a home workout plan.
Maybe it's because I've been into working out myself for over 30 years and have so much experience that putting that all into words can take a while.
So the words don't seem to take too long to write but the hardest time I have is images to use. Illustrated fitness images are nowhere to be found for free. Not only that most of the ones I want to use are not for sale. So I've been looking for software to create my own but to no avail.
That seems to be the biggest issue that is derailing my progress. I find the content so time consuming that I don't believe I can actually keep doing this if this is what is involved to be successfully at affiliate marketing.
Any advice on to reach the top of the stairs or at least a landing in between flights?

Some people use the photos they take Mike. You will certainly not have any copyright problems with them.

Have you looked into Canva? That is a free online tool for creating graphics. Here's some training on it which might help: How To Use Canva - Step By Step Text Format As for your content, sometimes it's better to be able to write longer info, than shorter posts. But if you feel they're too long, could you maybe break the topic up into multiple smaller posts? That would still get you new content for your site, without feeling like you're rambling on for pages. Just a thought.
