Clickbank Didn't Tell Me! I Got Paid
When I checked my Clickbank account last month they had started taking out $1 a week because my account didn't meet their Customer Distribution Requirement.
"CDR-- Account had not yet met Customer Distribution Requirement. Click here for text of the CDR as contained in our accounting policy. Paid balance delivery begins on the "Date Sent" date."
Their CDR requires 5 sales using 2 different payment methods. I only had 4 sales in 6 months and I didn't know how many payment methods had been used.
I only promote products that I've used myself and I'm happy with so I only promote a couple of Clickbank products.
I was thinking about asking my WA friends to swap purchases using each other's affiliate links so I could get my 5th sale and qualify for payment. But before I did that I logged into Clickbank and checked my account.
Imagine my surprise. Two more sales than I expected and they had paid $98.54 into my bank account 2 weeks ago.I checked through my emails and no, they never sent me a notification. They just paid up. No email, no fanfare, no nuttin'.
Most of the payments I get for affiliate marketing go through PayPal so I hardly ever check my business bank account. What a pleasant surprise. $98.54 US converted to $127.97 AUD.
Woo Hoo!

Great news Marion, Although I would like to be notified just sending the money works too LOL Thanks for sharing as I am trying to figure out how these affiliates work. They all seem a little different. Congrats:-)
Yes, that part's great. It's the little deductions on an "idle" account that I don't like.
