Double SERP Listing
Hi Folks,
Here is what hard work looks like.
The other day, I posted two articles that were similar in topic.
1) 5 Effective On Page SEO Elements
2) 5 Effective Off Page SEO Elements
Today I googled one of them to see where I was at in the SERPs and to my surprise, I ended up achieving a double SERP listing as shown in the screenshot above.
How did I do that?
Simple, I followed my own advice and use my own training called Jays 10 Step Process on Getting Content to Rank which you can access here.

Nothing more, nothing less.

The weird thing is now Google has de-indexed the 'on page SEO' post & just showing the 'off page SEO' post when you search for 'Effective On Page SEO Elements'
site:https://www.affiliateresources.org/5-effective-on-page-seo-elements/
Any ideas why?
On the plus side, you've proved the search term doesn't have to match the title / main KW exactly for a well written post to rank highly. Which is possibly more useful for people to know. :-)
Your site: search query is incorrect.

For a site: command to work in Google, it is best to do the root domain and then have a space afterwards THEN the URL parameter afterwards.
Hi Jay,
I've been trying to find information on how to add those star ratings like you have on your Offline Profit Machine Review. Everything I come up with is from the supplier's pov, saying you need customers to give you 5 google reviews (or something to that effect)
Any chance you could point me in the right direction? Would be a huge help.
Thanks,
Jay
Hi there - well, here is the plugin that I use to make those stars happen!
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-product-review/
The screen shot you posted also shows that the 'on page' post , whicht you were searching for isn't indexed.
Only the off page post shows when you search for 'on page'
Just wondering if there was any reason why they de-indexed it.
Hey Ian,
It's a typical Google dance with listing going up and down in the SERP.
As of Dec. 14, 2016 - they are still there around position 3 & 4.
