How To Gain G+ Followers
Hey guys!
I had a difficult transition when it came to engaging on social media platforms. Nowadays it is hard to get your foot in door, gain followers and build an audience. Luckily I figured out a way to get real followers automatically on Google+ through circle sharing.
I have a feeling G+ is on the rise, and it's the most user friendly social media platform in my opinion. Since gaining followers is easy you might as well take advantage of it.
I created this video for you guys that teaches you how to start a following. I now have about 4K followers to date using this technique.
My one piece of advice is that you need to be active on your profile everyday in order to start creating a strong audience, even if you aren't posting something about your blog, post or re-share something so that you are active. Respond to all of your notifications.
Like Kyle said though, don't blow two hours looking at G+ posts, set a limit on how long you spend on it but still make it a priority.
This is a video series so stay tuned!
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Lyra
Note: Once you have engaged regularly with a circle sharer (liking their posts, commenting) they will add you to one of their circles and you will get a notification that says, "You have been added to blah blah circle" and there will be a list of steps you need to follow to ensure that you keep getting added to their circles. Just follow the instructions and you'll keep getting followers.

What I did was start slowly as I will be staying in this business for a very long time. At first I just try to post my articles there and as I get familiar with it and discovered have communities, I joined and post also my articles there.
And from there started to gain some followers. Well, I don't have a thousand followers but I am satisfied because as the days passed it keeps growing. Thanks a lot for sharing! :-)
Your welcome and thanks for sharing your G+ experience, it takes time but if you keep at it and stay active you'll eventually have a decent following.
I agree with you Lyra. It really excites me to open my g+ and see the numbers of views and of course the build-up of those who are following me.
Lyra, I am social media inept. I've avoided G+, FB, Twitter, like they were intrusions into my privacy. I know I have to change that.
I found your video very well done and informative, but I would have preferred to watch your 2nd video, "How To Utilize Circles" first. Because the first question that came to my mind was, "Why do I want 3,000 followers that I need to respond to every day?"
Then, "How does this help with traffic to my website?"
Then you dropped in, "Stay Tuned... for...."
Good job, I'll be back.
Thank you for your useful feedback Phil. I will be sure to answer those questions in my next video, it never actually occurred to me to answer those questions because of the training, but the training isn't G+ specific.
Consider your social media woes a blessing, they can eat up your time and stall your productivity if you get too lost in the noise of it all.
However, knowing how to utilize it effectively is necessary, hence this blog.
Thanks again!
I've bee on G+ for years. It's actually been declining in popularity. Maybe you can help bring it back. I like it a lot.
Yea I really like it too, I find that the users on G+ are older and are better suited for my target market. There are a lot of entrepreneurs and people in business there, kind of like linkedin but more casual, and easier to connect with people.
It's ideal for content creators because of the targeted communities.
Well if it's declining that sucks, but there are still plenty of active users on it presently so I'm taking advantage while I can.
I started with some past acquaintance I had in my Yahoo email and then I endorsed them, added new people from time to time and then leave a comment when they add me to their circle. I also of course leave a post of my site on occasion.

I plan to have one follower per day. So 4000 followers will be 11 years . LOL
