As I work more and more online and am leaning some of the protocols of using the internet with integrity, using other people's photos makes me somewhat uneasy. Maybe you get the same feeling as well and you wonder how to get around this.
As is my habit I always research everything to find a better or more resourceful way around whatever issue I am dealing with.
Sometimes my patience pays off and when it does I love to share my findings with my fellow online business associates.
So what is this all about? Simple really, I found two gems that are great for graphics and photos to enhance your content and posts. And yes you can use both free.
Canva
One is Canva - here you can create amazing graphics to use on your social media posts for Facebook and Twitter. You can also download graphics/photos to use on your blogs and websites.
There is a multitude of free graphics and designs that you can use to build whatever look your want. It takes a bit of patience to get started with it, but once you do it is pretty user friendly. Here is a simple Facebook post I created using the Canva.
If you want more specific graphics they sell most of their photos for one dollar ($1.00) which I think is beyond reasonable and something anyone can afford.
Free Digital Photos
Then there is Free Digital Photos - they are generous in that you can download their photos free. The only thing that they ask in return for use of their photos free is that you give credit to the person who own the photo and to the website.
They ask for a simple acknowledgment on your website when you use their photos. The acknowledgment should be in this format - Image courtesy of (Image Owner Name goes here) at FreeDigitalPhotos.net)
I have used some of their free photos on my website. Of course there is a paid option and with that option you do not have to give credit for using the photo.
If you go to my website you will see how simple it is to use the free photo and add the acknowledgment as a caption.
I do hope you found value in this Blog post and that some of you will find the free graphics useful as you seek more ways to enhance your online presence.
