I currently have adsense showing a yoga clothing retailer. i also want to create a review for them. Does that fall under the 'direct pointing to purchase from said vendor'
I have signed up for a few affiliate programs for yoga clothing. Now looking to promote and direct traffic for those to purchase said items. it just so happens that the adsense is for a retailer i would like to promote
I would write only a review if I was an affiliate of yoga clothing, otherwise I would search for an affiliate program which sell those clothing and sign-up before writing a review. At last you are running a business, you are not a philantropic institute.
I'm not sure I understand your question. If they (said vendor) has an affiliate program, you can write a review. If your readers go through adsense, you will earn some money for the click but not an affiliate commission. Does that help?

Can you create a review and adsense same product?

Hi Alisha
You are seeing an adsense advert for Yoga clothing because your computer cookies have stored data telling Google you are interested in Yoga clothing - presumably you have been looking at this site yourself? If I was to go to your website, it might show me ads for skis, handbags, or shoes - all of which I have looked at online today. So, what I'm saying is that the adsense ads are targeted to the user.
You can't control what is shown, but you can add parameters (i.e. sports and fitness, health and beauty) to narrow down what is displayed and make the ads more relevant to your website.
So, if you are reviewing a product which you are seeing advertised on your screen by adsense on your site, that is absolutely fine.

Thank you LittleClaire. I forgot about seeing what my interests are. I have included or narrowed the parameters as much as i could without spending a day to knit pick.
To be honest, I haven't bothered with that. I figured that if someone has been looking at something online and my adsense shows them an ad, then I don't care what it is as long as they click it :)

I cant seem to find information on having an image watermarked on a page.
Thank you LanceCo for the video link. I must have watched it three times and cant get it to work. Everything i see within my WP is very different from his tutorials and I cant get the URL for the image file i wish to have behind the text. it's an 'oh well' for now. I can't keep wasting time on this feature at present. Marching on :)
Good morning. Which theme are you using? I will load it on my computer and see what is going on.
Here is a youtube video for you to watch that shows you how to do what you are asking. Hope this helps.

Hi Ivey,
Follow the link Loes gave you. You will have to watermark your image before adding it to your website.
Hey, Silly. I'm curious. I notice you writing this comment about following the convo. Does this work? Are you really notified when new comments are dropped into here?
Yes. I have that option switched on in my WA settings, so anytime someone answers a question I have posed, I get an email.
You DO, however, have to pose it as a question, with ? punctuation, and select the "need help from the community?" green "yes" button before you click on "add a comment"
Click on your profile pic (upper right) and select "account settings" and then scroll down to where you see "email notification settings" - there's like a dozen or more options you can switch on or off.

do you have to have register as a business when you set up a domain and website (in Canada) to which you intend to earn income through. I am not selling product, strictly blog
It is your choice in Canada. If you make over $30,000 per year it must be registered otherwise it is not classed as a business. You can if you wish but it is not necessary
Ken
Hi Ivey. Did you get an answer to that last question?
I intend to make more than $30,000 annually and wondered if I could wait to register a business with the Canadian government.
Good day Jeff, I found this online it might help you out.

It is the business and professional income break down from 2014. I've found it to be very useful as I am just getting into this as well I haven't gotten all the answers yet but it's a start at least. Best of luck!
