Stay in the creative mode
When I read blogs of people about numbers, or more complaints of people about why there post is not ranking, or is not ranking fast enough, I wonder at what point they are.
They have written a great post, and then they start analyzing, and analyzing, and more analyzing....
They spend hours and hours looking at the numbers, and it doesn't show anything more as then when they are not looking at those numbers. It doesn't make a difference. The numbers stay the same. And those hours are a waste.
The only thing that can keep you in the creative mode is:
WRITE ANOTHER POST
and another one, and another one, and another one, and another one...
That will bring you more success than whining about analytics, asking, complaining and checking up numbers for hours.
Stay in the creative mode, stop tackling yourself.

This is a nice article.
But how then do you improve if you don't look back to see what you can make better?
That's the very same reason why ANALYTICS exist. To help identify what works and what doesn't work. We don't just keep posting.
Spot on Loes! What do they call it? Oh yes, 'paralysis analysis' so much time wasted fretting about numbers and stats! lol
Since I discovered 'add url' I've been avoiding GWT and GA and just getting on with adding more content and to be honest, it's a much more enjoyable way to spend my time.
I've decided I'm only going to check my stats once a month and then forget about it. Hopefully one day I'll get a surprise when I do check those numbers! : )

You are right Loes, once again. It doesn't help to look at the numbers and ranking, better to be more creative.
It's alright to look once in a while, but don't stare your eyes blind on it
