I can not find my comments
Comments are approved
But some comments are not visual on the websites. I always go back to read the answer after approving.
What strikes me:
- The comment is not there
- There is no answer, or even a thank you for the comment
- The comment keeps the pending mode for days, even week
When you ask for comment, please approve them within 48 hours.
Reasons why the comments are not displayed:
- The WA system isn't working (Unlikely)
- The website owner deleted the comment after approving (Unlikely)
- The comment settings are incorrect (Most likely)
Reasons:
1. You have checked the box of automatically close comments and the setting is 1 day
2. You haven's enabled nested comment, so the answer will not display
3. Your setting for breaking comments into pages is too low (e.g. under 4) So only 4 comments are displayed
4. They oldest comments are displayed first, and the newest are not displayed because your settings of 3 are wrong.
I hope to see all my comments back on the websites from now on :)

Personally, I would like to add one more reason. That is, the owner of the website don´t know that when a comment is added on the WA comments page, the comment clock starts ticking from the website.
That happens for me, even so, I know that when you write comments here in WA it comes directly to your site. Just didn´t realize the other site on the money.
Plus that I have needed to delay answer comments because it is not good; I think, for Google when you get 20 comments on one page in 2 days. What I mean is that it seems that after the change it doesn´t work to say I want to get the comments next 90 days as I have done and want.
I don't believe Google is shocked over 20 some comments, when your site it invaded with 150+ or even more, Google will get alarmed over it.
Everything is very correct. Very rarely have I received any reply to my comments, it would be nice to receive some thanks. I have also done on some questions without answers. When I have requested comments once approved they appear immediately on my site. I remind everyone that the approved comments are a very good one for the positioning of our website. "Thanks" Loes!
The sites I commented on had only 4 comments displayed, and the other had the oldest comments first and only 6 on it, and 3 are just not there

I was actually looking forward to seeing the response to one of them and could not find it. Now at least I have an explanation...

It has happened to me that my comment was approved but never appeared on the website, after some weeks I stop looking.
It has also happened that after more than a week my comment finally did appear on the website but I got no answer. I had to wait more than a week after my comment was published for an answer.
It is a bore to have to go back so many times and look.
I also say, answer if possible within 24 hours but at least within 48 hours, do not keep your commenter waiting.
With the new system, it can happen you get 4 or 6 comments all at once. If that is the case I will answer some of them right away and keep the others for a day later. I find it a bit strange to suddenly have 6 comments all in the same day. Does Google check this and also finds it strange? Can it have an effect on ranking?

When your settings for Google crawling is once a day, it can make a difference, but when you have it set to once a week, it doesn't. Google will see all 6 comments at once.
By the way, I don't think Google is shaked up by seeing 6 comment, with 150 or more they might think it's questionable
Yes, I have it set for once a week, I suppose they do not look at the date of the comment. I have noticed that a couple of times the website owner does not write much as an answer. When one has taken the trouble to really write a long comment it would be nice the website owner says a bit more than only, Thank you.
Also that the website owner can edit a comment should not be forgotten. I just saw that one I had made got a slight change.
I had said thank you for the honest review, I would not buy this mixer as the blades can pop out. The website owner changed that in, I will have a look at your other reviews on mixers. That is perfectly ok.
I had once had a comment denied because of a word or 2, sad when you can edit afterward there is no need for that.

I am not editing, sometime get out a writing error, but when the whole comment is in very bad English, I leave the errors in too, because it's unlikely that a foreigner writes all words correctly but in a terrible grammar style
Yes, I leave their comments as they are. I have to go to edit myself as on Site Comments Grammarly does not function.
When I answer on my website Grammarly functions so my answer will be written correctly, or nearly.
I agree Loes. It is important to attend to your comments as soon as possible for various reasons. The most important is to provide a quality service and answer your website visitors where they need help.
Maybe they got busy with work and other things or do not work on their websites over a weekend? I am sure they will eventually have a look at it.
Don't let it bother you, this will happen. Some of my comments are a week old:)

I definitely do not always approve within 48 hours - and I do it on purpose and will continue to do so:-). Let me explain why.
Sometimes with the new system, you suddenly get several more comments than asked for - this is great. I just do not necessarily suddenly want 4 comments on an article that had not had comments for months. This would look weird.
Therefore I sometimes wait to approve some of the comments to keep the engagement going and spread it out.
But must say I think it is amazing you go back and check on the reply. That is very kind of you and a great thing to do.
