I have been reading and Google all over but one thing I can´t find it out. And that is, I am starting with tropical/pillar protect and need to change URL from /aaa-aa-a t
Hey Johann,
To do this, see screen print below...
Once you've changed the URL, you need to update your post so that your changes are kept.
If that is still too confusing, you can check out the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXbYHlUe7Hs
Hope you find this helpful.
I didn´t manage to do it before now.
The TV and the image is excellent but it si very strange that nothing works.
I changed the permalink so it was correct, but after the update, it remained the same—again and again.
Same when I use the video methods.
And the theme allow it, would not have taken it without this possibility!
Starting to believe that I need to not publish with the best method but normal!
But the help was important, something strange going in.
Hey Johann, it sounds like it might be a browser issue.
Check that post's URL from a different device... and... then it the URL did NOT change... try using a different browser and edited the URL again, and be sure to save it... then test to see if the change took place.
It used to be Microsoft's Explorer browser that refused to show that a change I made actually did take effect.
I would have to use a different computer to see the changes did happen... back in those days... so.. yeah, my bet is on your browser doing this.
No, it is not the browser. In general, I think the browser part is overrated. However, I have tested it in three browsers.
Microsoft was bad but has been my favorite last few months, but after Duckgogo, which I use number one.
But will probably move from the USA browsers soon.
Anyway, it can be part of the host, or, as has happened before, it could be a WP update. Some of the big Gutenberg, etc., had changed software that is not related to that.
I guess I gave up and needed to have it not as good. At least I have lost many days, and it is irrated!
You can edit the slugs for your URL, but be sure that they match you title exactly or you are only hurting your website! You do this in the back office of your website, do a quick edit on the post you wish to alter the slug to and you can edit the slug and the title of the article, and a few other things as well. If you do a full edit, it takes you to the article, so only a quick edit.
I hope this is helpful.

How do I add slugs in the url?
I have been reading and Google all over but one thing I can´t find it out. And that is, I am starting with tropical/pillar protect and need to change URL from /aaa-aa-a t
Two questions;
1- Does the URL belong to a page?
2- What is aaa and aa-a? Is it a category and a post?
I'm aware that each has its own URL. I was referring to the URL you want to change. Is it a page URL or a post URL?
Let me get this right. You want to change your post URL structure from yoursite.com/post-title to yoursite.com/aaa/post-title.
Does aaa belongs to a category? For example https://yoursite.com/category/post-title
If this is what you're trying to do then, what you're looking for is the permalink structure.
To change it go to Settings - Permalinks - Permalink structure. Choose the Custom Structure (see attachment). Don't forget to Save Changes.
Yes, this, I know. There seem to be technical problems, which is one of the most annoying things.
So I need to use success c rather than for success A

About Bing webmaster tool.
I have had a problem for many months because I can never index posts there because of some strange explanation.
Sadly, there is no possibility
After you do the initial URL inspection in Bing:
1. Click on the Live URL tab just right to the Bing Index tab.
Screenshot attached.
2. After the Live URL inspection is done, click on the View Tested page link. See the screenshot.
3. Then click on HTTP Response tab.
Ensure there is a green checkmark icon and it says: HTTP Response - 200
4. Close that window and then click on Request indexing
Thank you.
I did, and all, like you said.
I have always requested, even if it declined at the start, but I am a little bit unsure about Bing.
But with the situation like it is now it is even more important.

Each page, post, category etc have Url.
Just to explain what I was trying to find out.

Hmm..Any reason why you want to change the URL structure?
