7 Characteristics To Recognize Personal Leaders
Which characteristics does a personal leader have?
Why do you follow people? Is there a logical explaination? I think there is.
When you are inspired to follow a person, they often have several of the qualities below.
What is personal leadership really?
A personal leader has a free head and a free heart. Personal leaders lead themselves and do that from their core.
Find out if you are a natural born leader.
- Leaders are resilient
They do not linger in a situation, they pick up the pieces and solve the problem. They bounce back and make the best out of any situation. - They shine
Everyone who has connection with the Self, radiates. And personal leaders have this quality, they radiate something. - They are generous
They work from the inside out, and are satisfied with what they have. They lack nothing at the core of their lives and are able to give. People who still miss "something" have more problems with that. Personal leaders see money as an energy source to do good things. - They have clear limits
They know what they want and have a good understanding of where their own limit lies. - They affect others
You also recognize personal leaders from the people around them. Because people who radiate attract other people. People like to be inspired by personal leaders. Personal leadership works like a magnet. - Can seamlessly integrate individual and general interests
They are able to take what they need and, and let go what's not working. Real leaders have an eye for the sitution of others. You have bosses who are true leaders, and you have bosses who "boss" you around. - They have a well organized work and private life
Balance and good organization radiate from them. They have their business and private life in order.
A true leader guides others to become successfull, bring out the best in others.

Wow! Again!
I'm curious: which one(s) do you feel you, personally, fit the best? Which do you feel you need to work on most urgently?
Knowing you only remotely, I can't see how well you fit 1, 2 or 4. It seems clear to me, however, that all the others correctly describe what you do, who you are here on WA, based on only 3-4 months of reading your contributions (generous, affects others)
Thanks, Loes, and keep them coming!
Tim
I do think 4 is one I have to work on, I am better than I was, but it still needs some work, also 6 and 7. I think I control 1,2,3.
I am not directly a magnet, as put in 5, I am a solo player in daily life.
I can't speak to who you are IRL (hah! I know some kid-speak! In Real Life) but at least here on WA I would have to disagree about #5: your experience, your willingness to share and your obvious wisdom are all attractive attributes for the rest of us. As you said earlier, you get some 5-600 posts per day... And you don't think you attract others? Harumph, he harumphs!
Tim
I follow 10k and get all posts and question they place, a couple of them post 3 blogs a day, and some place 5 to 10 questions a day
Tim, in response to my own question of what iduces someone to follow another person here at WA, I have to say that anyone who uses the word Harumph has got to be followed! My website: www.englishwordmeanings.com.
Following!
Adrian
Thanks, Adrian, I enjoy playing with words. I've been told I know a lot of 'em....
How close are you to Albany? Do you know anyone named Irvine? Or is it Irving, I can't remember. Lauren was an exchange student here in Arizona a bunch of years ago, and I still keep up with her, and Clint and their two babies.
Thanks for the follow, and the recognition. I look forward to your vocabulary, too!
Tim
About 250 km, Tim, so in Australian terms, quite close! I'm afraid I don't know anyone in Albany. It's a terrific place though. You should add it to your list.
Adrian
Oh, yes, we saw a bunch of beach, vineyard and whale pix while she was here, so we know it's a garden spot! We'd love to wind up there, but it's so far from everything!
Good to chat with you!
Tim
Great roundup of leadership characteristics, Loes! I think there are quite a few natural leaders here at WA, shining and affecting others. I think you are doing exceptionally well in your challenge.
And thanks for the 'Picture to People' tip - I love these tools!
I am locked out of my administration user. I saying I lost my pass word. This is while I was up loading my privacy policy can anyone help.
Inspiring and educating post as always Loes!
I really like the fact that you have put up Kyle and Carson in the context. They really do fit well in there!
Another great post. We can all use good role models in life and the above are some of the best.

Great Loes. All of these people seem well known to us so following them is understandable, but what about people we don't know? I see you follow over 10,000 people here at WA; what criteria do you employ in deciding who to follow?
I'm pleased you found my article on this question of interest.
And to everyone here - what induces YOU to folow someone?
Adrian
In my early days here, I started following people, nowadays, I only follow back, so most of these people started following me. You can see that on my stats too, there is not much difference between those two.
