Shortest Blog so far!

This is not to encourage what is not taught here at WA, but my 276 word post got indexed on Google! Aaah yes, happened last night, 10.11.2018!

It was one of those by-the-way articles, written to experiment the linking feature! I wish I had an explanation why it got indexed over others, but I don't. If someone has an idea, I welcome them...

I'm amused beyond!

Congratulations on having the shortest blog indexed that is amazing.

Mary

Congratulations Linda. Google must have liked something in your article.

Derek

Thank you.

Congrats for getting indexed Linda!

Your journey has just begun!

Godspeed!

Thank you!

great jod and good luck

Let us know when it gets ranked! Grats.

Alright!!!!

Yup, what Marion said. I haven't done any posts under 600 words but some of mine get picked up faster than others. Keep moving forward!

Next you will try to make it on the first page by getting more and more traffic

Thanks!

Marion has explained this so well Linda and how cool to have this happen.
I would be amused as well and it just goes to show how great you are doing
Keep up the great work
Vicki

Once the first article on your website has been indexed the search engine bots will crawl the rest of your website and find everything that has links going to it. If your new post has appeared in your blogroll or has links going to it then the bots will be all over it quickly.

SEO, done properly, can result in posts getting indexed within minutes.

Hi Marion. Some of your wisdom would be appreciated, please.
I have a site that is now just over two months old. The second blog I submitted has still not been indexed by Google, and neither have the 15th, 19th, and 20th. There are currently 30 blogs. All others are indexing within 1 to 2 days.
I have fetched and rendered and requested indexing for these 4 (as well as all others) and the rendering has come back 'complete.' I have done this several times for each of these posts now and even redated and resubmitted the 2nd post again to try and get it indexed. Still, these 4 posts do not have the colorful G sign within WA 'site content' page.
Is there something I can do to see if there is a problem with Google, or with these posts? I do follow the same method for writing all of my blogs, so am unsure what is going on.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Andrew

Type site:example.com (with the colon and no spaces) into your Chrome browser and you'll get a list of everything that's been indexed on your site. Just because it's not listed at WA as indexed doesn't mean that the search engines haven't indexed it.

And make sure you've submitted your sitemap to the search engines.

Thanks, and yet I can't call myself a master yet. I want to get there. I would say, I got a nudge to expound my main post on a smaller post...
I want to make it real now, not guess work...

Oh my! tried jut now! Which means, at WA, they're not listed but the search engines have listed! I've followed the method and seen them all!!!
