Hi! I have no idea if that's good or not - but i've only had 3 clicks on adsense, and no purchases on amazon but 90 clicks.

suggestions, tips or anything for me/my w

Hi LH, I was just wondering how you were doing. Interesting site :)

hey Jenna, it's going okay - I have had over 1000 visitors now but haven't made much money. $20 from adsense and $5 from amazon. I have more articles to write and could use more content on my blog so maybe that is what's missing.

FYI nowadays in medical science a concussion only refers to the actual act of your brain slamming against your skull. Doctors use the term "brain damage" to cover all the symptoms associated with such trauma. Basically you can not "have" a concussion, you can only "experience" one.

P.S. left you a comment.

Hey! thanks :) funny I just replied to it without reading this first. Yep, gotcha about the medical concussion terminology. I'm reaching out to the mainstream and that's what they use. Thanks again!
Lucy

O think is super you got 200 visits in 3 days

thank you. I got scared because today I had way less views...but I guess - yes - I'll hang in there..

Give it time. You have come this far and your site looks good. Keep adding to it and things will start happening. Hang in there and keep posting.

Why would this happen? I followed all of the steps in the training...any tips?

Now I'm approved! :-)

Their rejection letter (listed below) would have indicated if LH was in a state that they dropped. Sounds like they did not approve the website. Probably needs more content.

What state do you live in?

Hi There, Just wanted to you must missed something when you filling out your details as signing up for Amazon Affiliate. Make sure you fill out all the required fields mark with this (*) That mean compulsory. Anyway all the best keep in touch.

Sorry you were rejected but it could be a good thing. My own experience with Amazon left a bad taste as they were constantly trying to get me to spend more money and didn't pay me for the sales I made. I am amazed at the number of WA members that promote Amazon.

They didn't give a reason at all for the rejection?

There are THOUSANDS of affiliate programs out there, so I wouldn't worry. Jay did a webinar last week on how to find affiliate programs besides Amazon, btw. :)

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/finding-awesome-affiliate-programs

more details- when I say "I followed all of the steps..." by that I mean I am on level 3 in the training where we are adding affiliates to our site. They sent me an email saying :Hello,

We’ve completed our review of your application to become an Amazon Associate, which included a visit to the web page where you planned to advertise for Amazon.com.

When reviewing a website we look for a beneficial reason of why a customer would seek out your site, review the topic or content posted, and click over to Amazon.com. We want an Associate site to be one that adds a value to the customer experience by giving them insight on a subject or product they might not get by going straight to Amazon.com. A website needs to show content that exemplifies these components when we evaluate your application.

At this time, we have decided that your site does not yet present a mutually beneficial business opportunity, and therefore decided not to approve your application to become an Amazon Associate."

So does this mean I need to just keep developing my website before re-applying, when I have more content on my site?

Yes.

thanks so much. i'll watch it now.

If I'm creating a website saying "this.... will help you", (nutrition and supplements) am i doing something that could be legally wrong (like a false health claim or something)? Do

You can find templates for "legalling" up a website, over at http://www.freenetlaw.com including a "medical advice" disclaimer. Rich.

I would add some kind of disclaimer that you are not a doctor, that they should consult their doctor before adding any supplements, and that the info provided is only your opinion.

Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, this is just my opinion, you should consult your attorney for any legal advice...

You may want to add some kind of disclaimer to your website and add a link to this page in the footer of your site. That said, I'm sure that the products that you are selling also have disclaimers both on the products, and within their websites.

I think a disclaimer would be a good idea in the niche that you're in. You want to notify people that any information delivered on your website should be verified by a doctor and that you are delivering the information to the best of your knowledge, but you are not in-fact a doctor yourself.

I've never heard of affiliates having trouble, any liability would likely fall on the vendor.

Carson

if your using "it might help" that is okay but if you "claim that it will cure you" that is wrong. Only drug companies can claim.

I just signed up for the premium account. I am confused-if I am using wealthy affiliate to create my website for a business, once my business is created do I have to keep paying fo

Online business changes all the time and perhaps even quick than traditional businesses. So even if you have your site running like a well oiled machine, something could derail that machine along the way (you'll read about things like Penguin and Panda which refers to updates by Google that killed a lot of money making websites).

When stuff like this happens there will be a lot of buzz here on WA as to what happened and people will offer up solutions that they come up with. This kind of community on its own, is worth the price of premium membership in my opinion.

so you can leave, and keep your website? (I'm pretty sure I want to stay though!) Awesome. Thanks.

Nope...you can leave any time you want...I thought the same thing back in 2008...but after a while there was always something here that helped me...and also to of the 2 best marketers on the planet...
