According to the training you type in your niche products and add +affiliate program but every time I try that I just end up with an affiliate company that represents many type
Hi,
Robert has it right, but I think from your comment that you are not getting single affiliate links, but ones controlled by affiliate marketing sites such as Click Bank.
Yes. That's correct. I have some that start as one company but when I try to join what seems to be their affiliate program, I'm redirected to an affiliate company.
In that have a look, I did this with share a sale, and whilst it took a few days whilst I was checked out found them to be very good, as you can also get other affiliate links off them, if I remember correctly they gave some good tips as well.
Yes. I've done that but the task set in my current lesson, is to find 2 niche affiliate programs.
OK, understand, is there another affiliate programme in the network site! Have you tried all the affiliate sites that come up when you do a Google search! Such as Niche Affiliate!
Regards
Stuart
I managed to get a side line product from my niche but not the main one. Every time I do seem to have one, a problem comes up.
But thanks a lot for all your help Stuart. I'll try a little bit more or give up and move on with to the next lesson.
Les,
I did this moved on, made a note that it was not completed until I had more energy to do it, and I did, so good idea my friend.
Have a look at the list.
There is sure to be something in there that's right up your street.
If/when you find something you simply type those words into your browser something like this -
work from home/affiliate program
You are sure to get lots of results.

No probs and as I said you are sure to find something that deals with an individual product instead of the biggies such as Clickbank and Amazon.
Enjoy your day.
Robert
My only niche at this point is scuba diving. When I type in scuba diving equipment or scuba diving or scuba vacations and then add + affiliate I get individual companies. In one case the company worked through another company, AvantLink, to administer the affiliate program. Maybe your problem is peculiar to your particular niche.

Is there anywhere I could get good basic technical help about setting up my website for affiliate marketing and customising my site and posts etc. ?
Try post the exact issue you are facing either as a question or in the live chat, there maybe someone with the knowledge and solution to your problem.
I've got a website and created lots of content and put some of my posts on google+, I've made some improvements to my website's appearance but have no idea how to customise certain aspects of it. I was just wondering if there is somewhere that covers this sort of stuff. A sort of website development for dummies type thing.
The community here is full of people with successful sites, a lot of WP knowledge and and few of us have worked in IT for a long time and can cover anything from troubleshooting your internet connections to figuring out why your computer is "acting funny". Reach out in live chat, posting like you did here and what not and you'll get responses.
If you can be more specific as to what you need help with (i.e. how do I add an ad in my footer, etc.) you'll get more responses as people can say "Oh hey! I know how to do that", etc.

I just wrote a blog for WA. As instructed in my lesson. When I tried to publish it, nothing happened. Is there some procedure to go through before I can publish ?
Go to dashboard. Click on it. you see a picture like the attached one. At the right, you see blog. You click on it. It will take you to your profile. Under the profile, you see create a new blog. You click on it and write. There other ways of doing it also. But I did this way successfully.
Hi Lestrow, if this happens again simply refresh your page. It's your f5 button on your keyboard. It glitches every once in a while. A simple page refresh helps every time when the publish button doesn't work.
Cheers!
