A website should be a micro niche website what about a youtube channel

A youtube channel should also be a micro niche Youtube channel

Your help is appreciat

Your YouTube channel needs to be the same as your website.

YouTube allows you to link your channel to what they call an associated website - so it would be a total disconnect and failure of your channel if your YouTube channel connected to a site in a different niche.

Think of your YouTube channel as just another type of content creation and a free source for traffic.

The goal is to get people off your channel and to your website, and you do this by using Cards and End Screens which allow you to have clickable links within your video. You can also have links within the description well.

Also if you have lots of content on your site you can easily convert your written content from your site into videos – making sure you SEO those videos properly so they have the opportunity to get ranked.

Also videos also tend to rank higher and faster in the search engines then written content. Not only will you rank in YouTube which is the second largest search engine but your videos have the opportunity to get ranked in Google as well.

And I speak from experience I'm in one niche and all I do is videos, and I have over 100 first page and first spot rankings in Google with video and my videos also dominate YouTube for this niche.

Do things right and you can create a ton for free traffic to your site.

Hope that helps

Great response, you have given us much food for thought.

Thank you very much for your reply

Utilize the power of a visual social platform the same way you do any of the other social platforms.

I have seen some You Tube channels that do nothing but product reviews for their niche, that would be a great traffic creator for your website and vise a versa.

Thanks for your reply

Hey there Brijaditya,

I would say you should keep your YouTube Channel within your niche too. You should be posting your videos from your website to your YouTube channel.

But on the other hand, you may be trying to find a particular audience and would want to cater to their likes which could be varied. Perhaps you could have two channels or more for this.

But for your own niche website - I would stick to your videos or affiliate videos in the same niche that you can add an affiliate link to their product or whatever.

Let's see what others say...

All the best

idk about MICRO niche. but it shoudl still be niche. think of your favorite tv show.

i like cooking shows... what if one day i tuned in and they are talking politics? it would seem weird and turn me off...

so always hav yuor central topic or niche and create contnet around that niche. be focused early on to gain traction, but then create stuff for a broader audience to grow.

Thanks for your reply

Actually, I want to make a blog on health, I want to choose a subdomain of one of my domain. What if I applied for Google Adsense after 2 months and transfer my website to anot

Agree with Kyle and Lee on this one - keep it simple :)

Thanks for your reply

You did not answer me, these two questions.

How can I target visitors from one country?

Can I apply for an affiliate programme in another country?

You can target visitors from one country via what traffic sources you aim for such as social media or paid ads etc

Each affiliate program has its own rules therefore you would need to check out the terms and conditions of the affiliate programs individually to see if you can promote in a different country

Thanks for your reply

This is definitely interesting.
Personally, I would go with what Kyle is suggesting.

Once you are approved for one website for Adsense, you could put Adsense units on multiple sites (this part I remember for sure) but not sure whether they like subdomains or not.... Kyle seems to think not.

Thank you very much for your reply

If you have a .com, you're pretty much targeting USA. You also target this in Search Console when you first set that up.

Yes, you can be an affiliate to any affiliate programs as long as they allow it.

Google Adsense doesn't like subdomains, and it will treat it like a brand new website. If you want to add Adsense to another domain, you will want to set up a new domain and then set this up within Adsense.

I would be careful about trying to "trick" the system as you may have your entire adsense account suspended.

I would suggest you create the site on your own domain. Anyway, If I'm not mistaken, I don't think you can register a sub-domain with G Adsense.

Let see what other have to say.

If you want to target certain country only, I believe you need to set your website to target audiences from that particular country on Google webmaster. I am not sure why you want to target certain country only.

Yes you can apply affiliate program in any country as long the program is available for people from your country. Hope I'm not confused you. :)

Joe

No, you helped me a lot.

How can I reach certain audiences? If I don't have much people from the certain country in my social media.

I believe there are many ways to reach your audience in that country. May be it takes some times to build your followers in social media targeting audiences from that country. PPC would be a great approach too as you can specify which country you want to target. But I don't recommend you use the method if you have not gone through the training.

Here are the PPC training, in case you need them. Joe

Actually, I don't know about PPC, I will go through The training first.

Thanks for your support

You're most welcome.
Looking forward to read your success story in near future.

Actually, I have two questions

1. What are the minimum criteria for applying Google AdSense?

And

2. What is the detailed process for WordPress to apply f

Just a word of advice-Don't worry about applying for any ad
program until you get traffic because you will be denied for lack of content.

Tried and True

Elaine

thanks for your reply

Do you wanna add any figure to your word 'get traffic'? like 200 per day or other

At least 200 click per day which are consistent, meaning you have that every day.

Tried and True

Elaine

Thanks for your reply

there is absolutely no point in applying for anything until you have traffic. Why would you want to apply that there's nobody visiting your website?

ok

And how much traffic needed

Do we have any step by step procedure (training here at the wealthy affiliate) to apply for Google AdSense

I don't have a detailed answer for you, but can tell you they declined to add me because I don't have enough traffic at my website.

While going for signup they ask me to pay 36 dollars for a year tell me if I am doing anything wrong.

Wealthy Affiliate does not use Akismet anymore for this reason.
