New site bringing in cash
I thought that before my final day I would let people see what I've been up to. Here is one of my sites: [edit 5/29/15 - site taken down for server upgrade]
It's simple and only has two pages, but it works like magic. I have another that is finishing the final testing and should be up late tonight.
Take a look, study it, ask questions.

Good, but I wouldn't say phenomenal. Maybe greood (half way between good and great) because of the back end stuff. Which, by the way, wasn't all that difficult to set up.
If you can read, and watch a video, you can do it.
It's really simple. The site offers a free e-book. The book is written by somebody else but, inside it has links to his major product which I earn 100% commission on.
Once the person places their email in the form and submits they go in my mailing list (for future offers). They also receive an email from my auto responder that has another offer at another one of my sites. That offer is for an e-book I wrote and costs $10. Again, their information goes into my mailing list for future offers.
If they buy from me once, and like the product, then the likelihood of them purchasing again goes up.
The person can also become an affiliate of my book and earn 75% commission. Now they are promoting my site, reducing my workload and increasing my profit line.
Hope that answers your question.
Hello LCJohn, after sending my comment I signed up on your site for the free ebook and after ward figured out what you just explained. Thanks for the response and my best wishes for your success, Hector Olivera
Yep, I got the email notification of the sign up at 2:35. The site in the email is finishing up the final testing. I'm going to be swapping that email out.
Not a problem. It's simple to do, just takes time in reading the directions (or finding a YouTube video that explains) on how to do everything. It's mostly copy paste stuff.
It was just looking at affiliate marketing from a product producer perspective and no a seller/affiliate perspective.
Not really. Just develop your own product. Save it in a .PDF format and sell it. You can also go to many different websites to get others (affiliates) to sell it for you at a given commission that you set.
It's really that simple. Spend a weekend researching it, and you will see what I mean.
I'm trying to understand what you said above:
Is "sim" short for "simple"? AND
Did you mean to say: "finishing" instead of "fishing"? ALSO
I viewed the icmaws.com site & am wondering how that produces
revenue. I can see how it may work to build an e-mail list.
Yeah, being up for over 24 hours and typing on the iPhone while not being able to see the entire screen (hello - mobile compatibility maybe?) can do strange things to a post. I edit and correct the "auto correct" stuff.
Read my reply to Hectoroliver above for how it produces revenue.
Earlier (yesterday if I remember) you were mentioning 4-figures profits, even close to 5-figures. I was puzzled with it. This cannot be from such a tiny site?
Actually it is.
The secret is in the simplicity. Read my reply above to Hectoroliver to see how I set it up.
The basics are a free offer to grow a mailing list. An auto responder to thank the buyer, and make a second offer at low (or reasonable) price.
That offer is contained on another sales site. The second site is a little larger (4 pages total: squeeze, sales, order, thank you) so it contains a stronger sales pitch.
Here's the rule I now follow "One problem gets one solution."
Need fire? Here's a match. The lighter will cost you $5. Single solution at two different levels.

Interesting stuff. How do you drive traffic to your site?
Answered below.
Short answer - affiliates and auto responders. No SEO, advertising, or spam links.
