Hello, My WA family and friends. How was your Christmas? I hope it was an incredible loving experience with all the trimmings, and all of your dreams met.

The new year is almost upon us. What a glorious opportunity we have to advance and fulfill our dreams here at WA. Whether you have been a member for a week or years, you still have the same chance to do big stuff in 2020.

Reflecting on 2019

While reflecting on 2019 and looking forward to 2020, I had a thought. Most of you have heard me say many times that I do love to help others. I love to teach and help people grow.

That is what the WA community is all about. Kyle and Carson's set this platform up with the pay it forward mentality so that we can help each other and use one another for support.

During the process of training, setting up my websites, and learning, I have grown into a true businesswoman.

What about you? Did you start your business like me and think you were going to set up a website, but 6 months or a year later you had set up a whole new life.

A life of increased confidence, self-esteem, and the ability to problem solve far beyond what you did before WA?

WA Has Everything

Wealthy Affiliate can offer you almost everything you need to make a passive online income and leave that horrible 9-5 job. We have to apply ourselves and keep keeping on to make it happen.

But there are times it is not easy. Or times you get stuck, and frustration takes over. In these times, it is easy to think you are the only one who has had difficulties or painful moments.

You look around, and everyone else is doing just fine, but not you. NO, you must be doing it all wrong because no one else is having issues.

You Are Not Alone

In times like these, we need to share. We need to know we are not alone, and others are feeling what we are.

What was your most frustrating or painful time when beginning your online business? It doesn't matter how long you have been here with WA. I am sure you have had one moment to share with us.

I Will Share First

My most challenging moment was monetizing my sites with Affiliate adds. Kyle did a great job in training, but no matter what I did, I couldn't get it to work. My ads were in the wrong place and obstructed valuable information. They didn't always show up and left blank areas on my posts. They were always outdated, and I couldn't keep up with the changes.

So to solve this problem, I just quit using ads. I had one of my sites that I did not monetize for many months. Now that was rather dumb on my part because I was losing money.

One day I decided to take the time to find a solution. It took way longer than one day, but with continued research, I did solve the problem.

Your Turn To Share

So now your turn. What was your most frustrating or painful learning experience here at WA?

Please get it all out there so you can start fresh for the new year 2020. I want everyone to know that we all have problems, and we all overcome them to move onto a better tomorrow and new year.

When you have shared it, and your head is clear, do set down and write out your goals for the coming year. Build your dreams and make them happen.

Do not let the frustrations of this past year stop you from your future opportunity here on this incredible WA platform.

The world is at your feet!

Make it happen!

Hi Laura, compliments of the season and all the best for 2020.

There will always be the odd challenge, and half the fun of it can be finding that solution that works.

Realizing that we are in the same boat, can be a worth while breakthrough.

As to creating those solutions we are definitely in the right place to tip the scales in our favors.

Best wishes, Laura.

Alex

Alex, you are so right. Fun follows frustration when we do find the solution.

Happy New Year to you and my it be all you have hoped for.

Laura

I think finding the solution is only fun when you know what you are doing lol. When you have no or little experience and you bash into a problem, finding the answer can be frustrating. You don't know where to start, you don't know what is causing the problem and you probably don't even know how to describe the problem.

Good Morning Laura,

In January it will be my 3 years at WA. I have an ongoing struggle with technology, I could nearly say I am getting used to it.
Once it got really frustrating. I wanted to make my Media File lighter so I deleted photos. I took care these photos were not used on my website posts.
What I did not know is that WA posts are included. Suddenly I had WA post from more than a year that showed big empty spaces. It took me a long time to find the missing photos, download them again on the Media File and then put them back on my WA posts, it was not funny.
I wrote a WA post on this issue.

Greetings from the south of Spain,

Taetske

Congrats on 3 years. Growing pains come in all forms. Sounds like yours were chronic for awhile. That is frustrating.

I bet if you look back you will see amazing progress over the past 3 years.

Keep it up you will make big strides this year also.

Laura

A wonderful post Laura. Finding a place to put it all, the thoughts, ideas, the energy. As December was my New Year (Just wanted to get ahead of the game) it did give me chance to re-evaluate. 2020 will be a year for putting it all in place and then the work will really begin.

Twack your goals are so exciting. If there is no where to store all of it then it is time to publish.

I know you have this one mastered in 2020.

Laura

That does make a lot of sense. Thank you Laura. It will be a good year for us all I think.

The past 12 months have been the most frustrating since I started my first website in 2010. The reason for the frustration was the necessity to move my two main sites from an out-dated premium WordPress theme.

I can only hope and trust that GeneratePress premium will continue for quite some years.

2020 Must be a year of progress for me!

Wishing you all the best for 2020, Laura.

Valerie

Good job on the move. 2019 was growing pains and 2020 is a fresh start. You got this one Valerie.

Laura

Thanks, Laura. I'll remember your encouraging words.

Valerie

I guess sometimes is frustrating reading about success of older members. It seems like: "Well of course they have success, they are in WA for 3 years!"

But then I remember they were in my place, in my shoes probably. They too could thought about older members the same. But they keep going forward and here they are now!

This motivates me to keep going no matter how far it seems I may be (or think).

Dalibor.

It is so hard not to compare our progress to others or our lives to others. But you are the only one who can be you. Keep keeping on my friend.

Laura
