Hello,
I am signing up to Adsense. In the last step I am to paste the Adsense link to the HTML of my website between the <head>and <head> tags. How do I do t

I see accad has given you the answer.

Go to your WordPress dashboard, point to "Appearance", select "Editor" and you will be headed to the Theme Editor. On the right side, you will see Theme files, select and press "Theme Header" and you will see the <head> <head>. In between that, you will paste your HTML Tag.
It should look like this:
<head>
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="
axX1Nx55lv3G-XD_elekDWAgqw_
aNySJe6HVmYCe_qg" />

Okay. Thank you. Very helpful.

You are welcome.

I am curious, are you referring to the code for the ads themselves?

Reason I ask, depending on where you are adding this, for instance in the middle of actual content, the code is inserted using the “text” tab of your editor.

This may confuse you however, not what I mean to do.

Point being sometimes it is forgotten that HTML code has to be entered in the text side when using the main content editor. If code is entered on the “visual” tab, it is published as the text.

This may help you as information in the future.

Thanks. The site said between the<head> and <head> tags

No problem.
I offered to much information, my bad. The other answers here are specific to it for sure.

You have to first download a plugin called header, footer, injection plugin. Go to plugins on you wordpress dashboard and download it for free. After activating it, you open it under installed plugins and you will see the header , footer body tag etc that adsensense is referring to

Thank you. Very helpful!

You will find this link helpful: Wishing you all the best here in WA.

Hi.

I am signing up for the FlexOffers Affilitae program and I must verify my website. To do so I must place a meta tag to my home page, but I do not know how to do it.

Go to Google Search Console or Google Webmasters Tools

Hey Latricia,

Here's what I would suggest you use: Hope this helps you.

There is a free plugin that I use to add meta tags where needed. You can use this for any website ownership request from affiliates, Google Analytics, etc.

It is called 'All Meta Tags' - You can find it doing a search in the 'add a plugin' area of the backend of your website dashboard. Easy to use and just works!

Cheers,

Dave : )

Thanks. It worked like a charm!

How do I take the comments off my Privacy Policy page? It is allowed on that page.

Always put your privacy page as a page, not a post so there will be no comments. You also want to check the do not follow box on this so it doesn’t get indexed by google and be seen as not unique.

I did all that and it is still there I must be missing something thank you anyway I have tried three time and it is not working for me. Thank you again

Probably your Privacy policy is a post and not a page. But you can disable comments on your Privacy Policy as Kyoko817 has explained.

I think it is because your page has checked comment in "screen options". Go to your privacy policy page, first unclick the "allow comment (or something like that)" on the comment section below your content, and then look at the top right and find the tab says "screen options". Open that tab and unclick "comment". Hope it helps!

Thanks. Your the awesomest.

in your dashboard, click pages.
hover your mouse over the privacy policy page and you will see an option that says 'quick edit' click that and disable comments right there.

click save.

Hello. I have a question. My website is indexed by google, but my posts are not. How do I get my posts indexed by google?

If your posts aren't indexed, but your homepage is, then it might be your XML sitemap. Unless you just started, then Google will index your posts in time. But you can use the Fetch as Google tool in your Google Search Console.

Actually, I have just started and am on Course 3 Lesson 2.

There are quite a few factors that influence your rankings. As a brand new site, Google does not respect you at all. So depending on the competition of the niche and your keyword selection, then you may not rank consistently until your website gains some authority.

The only way it gains authority is time. Unfortunately, there is no way to circle around that factor.

In fact, I suggest checking out Jay's training about SERP and keyword analysis (you should check out all of Jay's training for that matter, they are excellent!). As long as you keep uploading content consistently, around the 3-4 month mark, you will start to notice your post rising and traffic going up and up!

You just have to fight through the first 3-4 months.

Thank you! My niche is selling star trek collectibles. I do not know if it is a good niche. I have been using low hanging keywords, but I do not know. I have been at it for about a month now.

That is a good niche! Just be sure to target keywords with buying intent and watch Jays training i mentinoed above .it will teach you how to read the SERPS before targeting a keyword

Indeed very good question I will be following on this one. If u can let me know this I would appreciate it. I am a new member as well. I got indexed couple of days ago as well but not my posts wondering how long if takes. Thank you for this great question my dear friend
