Success Habits Are Key! (and a Story About Me Trying to Teach Them)

Hey Everybody,

Today, I want to jump into the topic of success habits...those small, consistent actions that lead to bigger achievements over time. I also want to share a story about how I am trying to teach some youngsters the importance of small daily success habits, and how they can lead to much more significant accomplishments.

Key Takeaways:

1. Success Habits from the Community:

Last week, we ran a weekly challenge on this very topic, and the response was overwhelming. Hundreds of members shared their daily habits, strategies, and techniques that help them move toward success. The feedback was incredible, and I want to thank everyone who contributed!

Success habits aren’t just about massive actions; they’re about the small, daily tasks that compound over time. Whether it’s taking 10 minutes to plan your day or dedicating 30 minutes to learning something new, these little habits create momentum and drive us toward our goals.

2. Teaching Success Habits to the Younger Generation:

I want to share a personal example of how I’m leveraging this idea with the younger generation. As some of you know, I coach my 11-year-old daughter’s basketball team, and I’ve learned that small, consistent habits make all the difference, not just in business but in sports and life.

One of the challenges I gave the team was to dribble at least 200 times a day. It takes just 1-2 minutes, but the impact was immediate. After just one week, all 12 girls on the team came back, having not only completed the challenge but exceeding it. The improvement in their ball-handling was obvious.

This got me thinking about the power of daily habits. I’ve now challenged the team to collectively dribble ONE MILLION TIMES outside of practice by the end of their basketball season. It might sound ambitious, but it's amazing what can happen when you gamify a process and break down a big goal into small, achievable steps.

3. The Power of Success Habits in Business:

The same concept applies to your business journey. Just like the 200 dribbles adding up to a million, your daily habits will snowball into larger success over time. Whether you’re writing a little each day, learning a new traffic strategy, or engaging with your audience, these actions will gain momentum and help your business grow.

Success isn’t always about huge leaps; often, it’s about doing the small things consistently. Just as the dribbling challenge helps the team develop skills, your daily habits will help you build your business foundation and grow over time.

Your Feedback:

I’d love to hear what you think about success habits and how they relate to broader success....whether in business or life. What habits have made the most significant impact for you? If you haven’t already shared, feel free to jump into the comments below and let me know!

Have a productive week ahead and I look forward to hearing about your feedback!

Hi Kyle:

Thank you for sharing the importance of developing successful habits.

Developing success habits is essential in life and especially in business, where consistency and resilience often make the difference between progress and stagnation. Although these habits take time and practice, their impact is profound.

Personally, I find that the more consistent I am in executing the goals and vision for my personal life and business the more successful the results.

Veron

Yes, and they don't need to be big habits. They can very much be small daily habits and these start to pile up to much bigger accomplishment.

Great to hear you are finding more consistency in terms of reaching your goals. :)

As we grow in life the earlier you know the skill, the more you have knowledge to learn more & grow stronger in that skill. As far as I'm concerned in WA, I have learned as long as I stay consistency & stay on track with my schooling & social media postings repetitious rules & money will generate.

So before I got here I did a lot of learning how to use social media in a business mindset. This is how I learn how to stay in habit of my timing, & posting habits.

FUN FACT: Preset your{ SM } post so that they start at 12am & for ALL 24 stories can last for 24 whole hrs. so nobody misses a moment of your post.

Absolutely! Starting early and building those skills over time gives you a solid foundation that only grows stronger! Developing that business mindset and consistency with social media is essential, and the effort you’ve put into your timing and posting habits will definitely pay off.

Great tip about scheduling posts at midnight for the full 24-hour visibility! It’s small actions like this that add up over time, helping you reach more people without extra effort.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here Sy!

Hello Mr kyle

Hey there. :)

Great motivational video, Kyle!

Success habits are definitely more prominent now than they've ever been.
As long as the things you strive to succeed for does work and will eventually work itself out in the long haul then I think we got a pretty bright future ahead. :)

Myra ♄

Thank you, Myra! You’re absolutely right...success habits are more essential now than ever, and keeping that long-term perspective is key. When we stay consistent with the things we believe in, even if we don’t see immediate results, those efforts are building toward something worthwhile.

That ‘bright future’ you mentioned is often just the result of sticking with those small, daily actions over time. ;)

Appreciate your thoughts and positivity!

Hi Kyle

This video reminds me of two of my sons. Both awesome kids. The oldest was extremely gifted both in athletics and academics. The younger not as gifted, so he had to work hard to keep up with his older brother. Because his work ethic grew over the years, he has become extremely successful in his career. I won't bore you with all of the examples of how hard he has worked and what he has accomplished, but it is very impressive and all because he put in the extra effort.

Great message, Kyle!

Tim đŸŽŒ

That's really interesting, my two kids mirror that exactly.

If only they knew then, what they know now.

Tim đŸŽŒ

Love that story. Work ethic pays off, always. And myself I find that being the younger brother, I always had to work hard to keep up at everything...sports, etc.

Through time, I think that this led to a bit of a competitive advantage over some others that I learned in life. I had naturally built in daily success habits to get better (and try to keep up).

Love this story you share here, there are many MANY examples like this that show the windy path to success and how it starts with work ethic and small incremental habits.

Thanks, Kyle!

Tim đŸŽŒ

Hey Kyle, this is really interesting! I wouldn't call it success habits from my end, only that I have been posting on social media, with some views from my faithful followers. I haven't been that impressed, but okayed it.

Then I thought let's try TikTok, and not thinking much about it....BOOM!!! I excelled myself, the last poster got nearly 1,000 views, and my recent animated poster is reaching nearly 2,000!! A confidence booster for me!
So it's all about the type of audience you can reach! And a post of interest.

Now I have to keep the vibe going in the hope I will build a good following! That's the most significant impact that I made recently, trying something else in this case it paid off!
To summarise, just keep on going, and not giving up as it's well worth it in the end!

Sounds like a big breakthrough for you Julia!

It’s amazing how trying something new like TikTok can lead to those confidence boosting results. Hitting nearly 2,000 views shows you’re definitely onto something, and I can only assume that you are going to reach new heights as you continue to dig into the platform.

And you’re right: finding the right platform and audience is key. Sometimes it's all about experimenting until you find that spark where your content really connects.

Thanks for sharing this win with us. Also, for reminding us all of the power in persistence. That is what this post is all about. Small things with consistency, lead to much larger goals being accomplished. ;)
