Success Habits Are Key! (and a Story About Me Trying to Teach Them)

Hey Everybody,

Today, I want to jump into the topic of success habits...those small, consistent actions that lead to bigger achievements over time. I also want to share a story about how I am trying to teach some youngsters the importance of small daily success habits, and how they can lead to much more significant accomplishments.

Key Takeaways:

1. Success Habits from the Community:

Last week, we ran a weekly challenge on this very topic, and the response was overwhelming. Hundreds of members shared their daily habits, strategies, and techniques that help them move toward success. The feedback was incredible, and I want to thank everyone who contributed!

Success habits aren’t just about massive actions; they’re about the small, daily tasks that compound over time. Whether it’s taking 10 minutes to plan your day or dedicating 30 minutes to learning something new, these little habits create momentum and drive us toward our goals.

2. Teaching Success Habits to the Younger Generation:

I want to share a personal example of how I’m leveraging this idea with the younger generation. As some of you know, I coach my 11-year-old daughter’s basketball team, and I’ve learned that small, consistent habits make all the difference, not just in business but in sports and life.

One of the challenges I gave the team was to dribble at least 200 times a day. It takes just 1-2 minutes, but the impact was immediate. After just one week, all 12 girls on the team came back, having not only completed the challenge but exceeding it. The improvement in their ball-handling was obvious.

This got me thinking about the power of daily habits. I’ve now challenged the team to collectively dribble ONE MILLION TIMES outside of practice by the end of their basketball season. It might sound ambitious, but it's amazing what can happen when you gamify a process and break down a big goal into small, achievable steps.

3. The Power of Success Habits in Business:

The same concept applies to your business journey. Just like the 200 dribbles adding up to a million, your daily habits will snowball into larger success over time. Whether you’re writing a little each day, learning a new traffic strategy, or engaging with your audience, these actions will gain momentum and help your business grow.

Success isn’t always about huge leaps; often, it’s about doing the small things consistently. Just as the dribbling challenge helps the team develop skills, your daily habits will help you build your business foundation and grow over time.

Your Feedback:

I’d love to hear what you think about success habits and how they relate to broader success....whether in business or life. What habits have made the most significant impact for you? If you haven’t already shared, feel free to jump into the comments below and let me know!

Have a productive week ahead and I look forward to hearing about your feedback!

Love it Kyle! It's by doing the same things over and over again (as long as they work of course), keeping things simple and never giving up which will lead to success in all aspects of life!!

Have a fantastic week my friend!

👍👍🍻

This shared philosophy makes both experiences rewarding and enjoyable because we help each other and work as a team. I love it when you talked about how the girls showed up with bonus skills; it gave me goosebumps! Just like I do with the Paleo diet, teamwork and support are important for our success. By helping one another, we can reach our goals and feel good about what we accomplish together.

I couldn't agree more, Kyle.

Someone once said, "everything affects everything else." I believe in this greatly and have observed it in my own life. Good or bad habits.

With the bad habits, no matter how hard I tried to convince myself it didn't matter, or "just this once won't make a difference," they actually do.

So it stands to reason, repeating small success habits on a daily basis will drive us towards success.

Thanks for the motivation,

Richard

Very good point, good or bad. They both have an impact in one way or another, and of course we want to instil good habits and success driven habits within our schedules if we want to accomplish as much as possible. :)

Hey Kyle, you haven't replied to my comment on your other post from a few days ago yet. It's about my affiliate link not working. I explained it in detail there.

You can send me a private message if you need personal and direct help. ;)

After conducting some research, I came across this resource that may enhance your daily workflow, helping you stay organized and maintain productivity.

Daily Habits That Lead to Success

Set Clear Goals and Prioritize Tasks

Start your day by outlining your top priorities and setting achievable goals. Use tools like a to-do list or time-blocking to stay organized and focused on what matters most.

Practice Continuous Learning

Dedicate time each day to learning something new, whether it’s reading books, listening to podcasts, or taking online courses. Successful people are lifelong learners who constantly seek improvement.

Maintain Physical and Mental Health

Incorporate exercise, mindfulness, or meditation into your routine to stay energized and focused. Taking care of your body and mind helps maintain productivity and reduces stress.

Review Progress and Reflect

Take time each evening to assess your day. Reflect on what went well, what didn’t, and how you can improve tomorrow. Tracking progress keeps you aligned with your long-term goals.

Build Strong Relationships and Network

Connect with others regularly, whether it’s networking in your industry, engaging with your team, or spending quality time with loved ones. Strong relationships provide support, inspiration, and new opportunities.

These habits, practiced consistently, can help you build momentum and achieve meaningful success over time.

That's great Elke, thanks for sharing!
