Thank you for your time and the information you provided. I came across another option which will actually be better than moving the original site from the other platform.
I'm going to add a subdomain for blog posts and have that hosted here instead. Do you have any knowledge on that?

Hi. How do I take a post down that's already published and publish it at a later date?
I believe you go to your list of posts, click on quick edit in the post listing, and chen check unpublish.
Hi Community:

Vernon,
Isnt it great. I also posted out a question this morning and the response we get is quick and fast. It's also a good feeling also being able to help others. :)
Awesome to meet you here too.
Debs :)
Sorry I deleted my comment by accident.
You have it covered. Just in case you are wondering where my comment went lol.
Debs :)
I didn't, Veron, I am so sorry.
I was editing my comment and pressed delete instead.
The joys of chatting to my daughter whilst working. It must have happened the same time more or less as I accidently deleted. There was no comment when I was editing.
Sorry :)
Hi Debs: (I'm copying and pasting it here.)
Thank you for that super quick response. I really would prefer not to remove it as I will need to republish. It's just that I went ahead of myself to put information out before there is a system in place to track visitors who click on the link through me.
I'll just leave it there and hope for the best. It would be significant earnings for me when the system is in place. I was just eager to start promotions.
By the way, how do I make it private?
Thanks again, Debs.
Veron
You are so much better just leaving it.
I would also keep it published. You can soon get the tracking sorted.
It would be a shame to lose any traction on it if it is hidden you won't gain anything.
You could start gaining traffic to that post whilst it is live.
Potentially it could move up in rank also. I would for sure just keep it visible.
If you do want to make it private.
I use the old WordPress editor.
Here is an image for you below. This is a post I was doing but got held up finishing so I made it private as it is no where near finished. Hope that helps a little more for you. I haven't had the time to sort it out. I need to get working on it lol.
Debs :)
Every theme may be slightly different but go to your WordPress dashboard and on the right of the text editor that is where you write your text, there are options down the right-hand side. They include things such as tags, categories, featured image and publish.
Some themes will give you an option such as draft, published etc. Mine, as you can see, is marked published in the image but if I click on the published there is a drop-down menu and it will show a calendar you can choose the date you want to publish. Or you can make it a draft and manually publish
Hi Catherine:
Thank you for responding. I wasn't aware of all that before but, thanks to you, now I do. I'm going to do that right away.

On your WP Dashboard, go to "Posts" and select the post you want to publish at a later date, click "Edit." On the upper right corner you will see the date when you originally published it, click "Edit" and enter the date you want it to be published, click "Okay." Finally, just click "Update."
Hi Alyssanna:
Thank you so much for just jumping in here to rescue me. I appreciate your response.
