Core “Business Start Up” Training
asked in
Search Engine Optimization

I have searched hi and low, but haven't found anything that has helped. Is there a more current training that actually uses the same plugins that we have been taught to use in

Hey Tim, I had the same issue. Check out the video below and see if this helps.

Will do, thanks Brian!

Thanks again Brian, unfortunately that part was already correct.

I will keep pushing forward.

You can request indexing via the GSC inspection tool.
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289?

Or do supplementary content and share it on Medium.com, backlinking to your website.

Or run with a few pins and strategically link them to your website.

Also, do your internal linking.

This is the message I get when I try the GSC inspection tool.
No: 'noindex' detected in 'X-Robots-Tag' http header

What is your noindex issue?

When I am in Google search console, then pages, it shows 30 pages indexed and 29 pages not indexed. I have a total of 25 pages/posts at this time. When I scroll down, it has 28 pages Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag. I'm really confused at this point.

URLs with postname need to be indexed only. Any others, no.

I obviously have a lot to learn. I'm still lost as to how to repair this problem.
Thank you for trying to help, Abie! I do appreciate it!

Any posts that you've written need to be indexed (post-name). Anything else like feed, author, category, or tag etc not.

That's what I thought, but Google and my posts weren't playing well together.
Site support gave me something to try, now I wait to see if it works or not.

Okay! Please keep me posted on your progress.

Still no progress. Been searching and fighting with this nearly everyday.

URLs with post names need to be indexed (actual posts)

Others with feed, tag, category, author, page #, etc... Not.

Thank you, Abie!

I believe I am good. Between you and site support, the problem has been resolved.

That's fantastically fabulous :)

Thanks again for the help, Abie!
