I have a load of pages showing, "Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag" on Google Search Console. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?
URLs with post names need to be indexed (actual posts)
Others with feed, tag, category, author, page #, etc... Not.
Kyle's comment How do you remove 'noindex' detected in 'x-robots-tag' http header? Abie

I have a WA affiliates banner on my site which is getting a few clicks but I haven't done the course yet and started promoting it seriously so I'm not up on the jargon. What do
Hey Ken,
The Content Clicks are clicks on you content here in WA. For example, when you blog post within WA, your posts can be indexed in Google, Bing, Yahoo etc. When people find those posts and click on them from the search engines, that's counted as a "content click". It's clicks on "Content" here in WA!
Hope that makes sense!
Happy to have you on board as an affiliate of WA.
Reach out here in the community with questions like this at any time. Kyle and/or I will get back to you promptly :)
So clicks content is the counting of the times someone has clicked on content that you have created. So you must have a post or page with some content on it and a link that is in the text that is being clicked.
I hope this is helpful.

Hi Guys, can anyone tell me if our sites come under wordpress.com or wordpress.org.?
It is a siterubix patent based on WordPress .org, open source :) But Kyle has you covered here.
You are actually using neither, you are using the Wordpress CMS here, which is the framework of your website. But it is hosted here on our servers, with our own custom solutions on the website side of things.
Wordpress is open source, meaning that any platform/services can use their technology and framework.
I hope this clarifies for you here.
As Phil mentioned, Wordpress.org is where you will find a lot of the resources, tutorials, and discussion themes around themes, plugins, and the platform itself. But you don't really need to focus on any of these.
Thanks for that Kyle. The reason I was checking is that I have an issue with an error message (missing paramater(s): requests) that comes up when I'm trying to link a home page widget to a page on my website and the support guys think it is theme related and I need to get someone at Wordpress to fix it.
no they don't
here you use the program from wordpress.org..
wordpress.com is a hosting company - like wa...
so here you install wordpress the program onto your domain and host it within the wa platform...
the program wordpress and wordpress.com are two separate things...
it is frustrating that they are named the same and jsut shows that using the same name as another site but a different extension can cause all sorts of confusion - and possible loss of traffic...
if you goto wordpress.org then you will find the list of themes and plugins under the top menu...

You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh and try again. Try the URL in a different browser or mobile device.
You can also empty the server's cache.

Hi Abie
This has been really wierd but eventually discovered I only had the problem on the Chrome account (I have more than one) that is my main browser on my laptop, didn't affect the same Chrome account on other devices. I did a reset on Chrome on the laptop which includes clearing the cache and that fixed it.
Thanks
Ken
Can you drop us a link to your website, so we can better understand what is going on here and we will be more than happy to help you out here Kenneth. It is just a better easier to assess and make recommendations, if we have the some context.
Thanks! :)
Hi Kyle
Re my question from a couple of days ago (reproduced below). I don't know if you have had a chance to look at the site, www.buyrentholiday.com, since I sent you the URL but I have now discovered that the problem only seems to be on the Chrome browser on my Windows 11 powered laptop. Chrome browsers on my android powered tablet and mobile phone are showing the menus ok as is my Edge browser on the Windows 11 laptop. The menus were amended to include the 'About' page on the laptop editing Wordpress in Chrome. Any ideas?
regards
Ken McNeil
