Is it possible for me to leave WA and come back later to find my websites and progress still in check?

If you return within 30 days everything will be intact. But it will be best to back up your website before you leave
If you leave, you will have 30 days to move your site to new hosting or it will be deleted.
To move a free site rubix site, you would first have to transfer it to your own domain name, then you can move it to new hosting.
When you want to come back, you can do so at any time as a premium member. You can not go back to starter
If you built your websites on siterubix then i believe you get 4-6 weeks before they are deleted, it might be more.

I had this same issue. After you pasted the Tracking ID into AIO SEO, it immediately gave you this error? I believe what I did was uploaded the .php file with FTP.

I did everything in the steps that Kyle recommends. It took about 24 hours for ads to start appearing on my page and only a few minutes for google analytics to begin working. I suggest taking everything step by step in the courses and while you wait for things to happen, continue with your blogging.
I took took about three days for me but in that time, I did a few things which I think helped. I went into google analytics and made sure my site was in there. Also make sure you have a google plus account and a webmaster tools account. I looked at wealthy affiliate courses and actually went ahead a little bit to see what I needed to do as far as getting indexed
how far are you in the lessons? Kyle walks you through the whole process and it's pretty easy

I have integrated adsense with google analytics as recommended by Kyle, won't hurt to do it! =)
When I need more details on my adsense revenue I just go to my adsense account
