I don't want my credit card details to be registered for auto renew, how do I stop payments being made automatically from auto renewed without cancelling my subscription please

Hi Kathleen,

Simply change your method of payment. If you don't want your credit card used, then provide a PayPal account that can be used. This way, you'll have extra protection for your credit card details.

However, you have to provide a method for the WA platform to renew your membership automatically upon payment due, so that your access to the platform will remain unchanged.

Hope you find this helpful.

I've never had a problem, Kathleen, unless my card on file expired! You have nothing to worry about, in my opinion!

Jeff

All credit card transactions are fully encrypted for security. Your credit info isn't in jeopardy here. As with most online memberships, just like with all your Netflix, Hulu, etc. if you choose the monthly membership option, it's automatically set to auto-renew every month unless you cancel your membership ahead of that date. If you choose the yearly option it's automatically charged once a year instead of once a month.

I'm not sure if there is a manual payment option. Send Carson a Privat Message, he should be able to answer.

You can go here.

And cancel billing.

For any websites hosted here, you need to arrange alternative hosting for your website before your subscription ceases, as you would be locked out of the platform; site support backups are only available for 60 days.

You can never revert back to being a starter.

You may reach out to site support for a backup of your websites.

Also, domain names must have passed the grace period of 60 days.

I'm trying to find a way to create my own template for a blog post where I can use a free template and create a 5 day meal plan for my readers but I am stuck and have no idea h

Thanks everyone for you support. I was really stuck on this for so long. Once I realised I could try using word to create a table even though it's not as pretty as the ones online, I remembered to try the snipping tool to convert it to a png file, then uploaded onto my post.

I am so grateful for all of your help and suggestions. You guys are very kind and generous with taking the time and effort to contribute help and support for a non technical here. I'm truly grateful.

Thank you WA family
Kat

It is good that you created a solution Kat, one of the real pluses of WA is that we have this huge crowd of helpful folks in our corner.

Thanks Alex, yes, it definitely helps having such wonderful support and offers of help and guidance when we hit a little bump on the road. Thanks everyone again for your contributions - without your help, I would still be stuck. I've finished my post yay!

Cheers

Kat

Looks like they answered it, good luck

You always use the template functionality in Microsoft Word. You can actually change the view to Web Layout. Create the template when you are done click on FIle then Save As Template. MS Word allows you to save documents in a variety of formats. Another example is to create two emails one in HTML and one in Rich Text. This allows those on your subscriber list to choose which version they would like to receive. Some people cannot read emails in HTML format. I actually do this with my resume so I can cut and paste it right in the email instead of attaching the document.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for this suggestion Atreas. I was wondering which file to save it under, to make it web friendly. I am not very proficient with using word, I am still learning how to use it effectively, so this is helpful thank you.

Hey Kathleen,
Try Google search. I usually find many things I want there.

Tried and True

Elaine

I've done multiple google searches and haven't been able to find something that works for being able to be added to my blog. The ones I find are usually for printing out and I'm not confident in whether it would be legal to add to my post or able to. I'll keep looking through though.

Hmmmm.....

I don't use a plugin. I just use a template of
ingredients
Method
variations
cooking tips

Hey Kathleen,

Google searching "Meal plan template" (without the quotation marks, of course) brings up several options.

If you were to search for all the keywords (such as adding "free") to your search on Google you may find one offered.

Hope you find this helpful.

Hi Kathleen,

This plugin may be helpful,

https://wordpress.org/plugins/meal-planner-pro/

I have seen this one and wondered whether it would work. I'll try it and see how it goes.

It is good to try things out, just a suggestion create a test site using one of your Site Rubix sites, it provides a way to test things out without impacting on your main site. Maybe worth a look.
