Concentrate on the Portion of the Market that intends to Buy.
I have been thinking a lot about mindset shift recently. Remembering the tale of the Sybil of Cumae, Cumae was an ancient Greek colony but nearer to the Roman empire than Athens, so they were more famous in Roman mythology than Greece.
Anyway the Sybils were the priestesses revered by mortals because they had the ear of the gods, she is mentioned by Virgil . There were many famous Sybils, but the tale of being cursed by what you wish for is one of the most famous.
This Sybil asked the god Apollo to live for the number of years of grains of sand, in other words to be eternal. Apollo granted her the wish and she was forever cursed, because she forgot to ask for eternal youth and she shrivelled to the size of a prune as she aged and dried out.
Now what has this got to do with today - we should wish ourselves to be marketers, not sellers. it is not our job to sell as affiliates. The difference is explained here.
If we affirm ourselves as marketers rather than sellers, we go out to market. That is we go out to find the markets where people are buying.
That brings me to my title. In the marketplace some people buy, and some people don't. That can be seen in any real marketplace in the world. The people that didn't buy today, may very well buy tomorrow
Or next week, or not at all, but so what.Don't let's forget what we wish for buyers'.
You have found your market of buyers concentrate on those don't wish to pull everyone into the sales funnel.

Start From a Position of Strength and Success.
This is the complete opposite of let's start from a position of failure. A position of failure is saying not sure this is going to work let's suck it and see and see if we have any conversions.
Start from actually finding out where the success in the marketplace is. Kyle and others have written a lot about intent and purpose and I want to draw attention to them here, so you can chase the market that is and forget about the one's that aren't.
Don't let's flail around in the dark but concentrate on the portion of the market that intends to buy intent.

Re Sybil's wish - as the saying goes, "careful what you wish for"... a lot of great information here again, Kat ... thanks for sharing. Hope to be able to pay it forward some day, but it is very slow going for me.

Hi Katzee - had to comment on your "slow going" comment. I have trouble fitting everything into my day - that's the slowness I experience, wanna get more done sooner (yours may be different).
But I've found just in the past week or so in this space that it's like a yoga session, or a meditation combined with a comedy show:
I feel validated, I relax, and I laugh a whole bunch (and sometimes I am deeply moved.)
If it's slow going, I think it is for all of us sometimes - just remember what my yoga teacher says, "Wherever you are today, it's exactly where you are supposed to be."
Hang in there and know that lots of people are hanging with you.
It does not matter how slow or fast your personal journey is, as long as you refuse to give up. Some people learn from the heart and that takes longer to absorb information, but it is usually the best information, when you have to feel it.

For a long time I didn't think they were, but now I am realising how much self limiting thoughts like wait and it will come to limit everything we do and actually sabotage our success.
