Wow, my first time ranking on the first page of Google on position 1!
Hey everyone,
I am so happy right now! I've been jumping in my living room, unable to believe that it finally worked: I checked some of my keywords and then I realized that my website's ranking for a keyword phrase consisting of six words on page 1 position 1 on Google! At the same time, it is ranking on page 1 position 1 on Yahoo, as well. Then I checked again and I am on the second page of Google for the first three words of the same keyword phrase! It's just so amazing how everything that WA taught me starts paying off eventually and it motivates me so much!
I know, you may think that it's funny I'm freaking out about this ranking although I didn't make a dime, yet, but I'm actually not so eager to earn money anymore - I'm much more interested in creating an authority page and offering great content that helps my visitors and appears in the search engines for them. I'm really taking my sweet time with this and I'm enjoying it! When I start including affiliate links, money would be nice, too, but, as of now, high-quality content is my most important goal.
I've been a premium member for three months now and I don't regret one single second that I chose WA as a platform for my internet marketing career. The advice I'm constantly receiving here is so valuable and even as a full time university student with a limited amount of time, I managed to get this to work!
I hope that my success post will motivate all of you who are struggling to keep up the good work & never give up! It just takes time, but as soon as you've made it, you know that it was all worth it.

Hi Vanessa - well done, that's really good news. Every post like this will motivate so many people to keep going - and you're right, the gratification you get in creating something that helps others is so different to the "I want to make money" need - I'm early days here, and still looking for the "it click's moment", but every day I'm getting closer - and every day I try and help someone, and get a "like" - it absolutely floors me every time - I've done something that's helped someone else!!
That's exactly what an authority site is - a font of knowledge that people will come to again and again!

Of course we all want to earn money with our websites, but in the end, quality content is the core we need to succeed in doing so. For me, only creating this website has been so gratifying so far that it keeps me going. Unbelievable, right? But it feels very natural.
