Does anybody use paid version of EWWW Image Optimizer plugin? it costs $9 a month and promises to optimize to 100% of all images compare to 20% of free version.

I have s

My advice is not to pay the extra money. In the training video Kyle says that is definitely isn't necessary to upgrade.

If anything, maybe try researching another free optimizer if you feel that you need more!

Personally, I wouldn't pay the extra money.
Russell

Thank you very much for your recommendations. I decided not to use paid plugin for pictures optimizations. But to resize them manually for 100KB or less. After I will be done with my 100s of pictures, I will make sure to use only 100 KB pictures.

Have a great day.

Is anybody experiencing many pages and posts ranking changes for last 2 days because of recent major Google algorithm update? I have never seen anything like that for last 4 ye

Happens very often, but as long as you follow WA's training, you're protected from this chaos :)

Yes, any time Google makes algorithm changes you will experience this. Par for the course.

Should I include in XML sitemap plugin categories, tages and archives. Currently my sitemap only includes homepage, posts and pages.

I have read so many controversial op

To Google, duplicate content in this context means having the same content being able to be accessed by more than one URL.

Tags, categories, author archives - these create different links pointing to the same content.

They say in the webmaster guidelines that bots may not be able to eliminate URLs that look different but actually point to the same post or page that is already indexed.

A searcher does not want to click on one link, be taken to a website, then later click on another link and be taken to the same site. Google would see this as not a desirable search user experience.

That is why Yoast and the AIO plugins provide the option to no-index tags, categories and author archive pages. ~Jude

Thank you very much Jude for your detailed explanation. It explains everything. I really appreciate your help.

You're most welcome. :-)

No I don't think so at least I never did. Not for a sitemap

That is very good question. I’d like to know the answer or recommendations as well
