I feel like this is incredibly easy and I'm totally missing it. When I login to adsense, this shows :
Welcome to AdSense
Your account is just one step away from bei
You need to post the ad copy into a widget or text box in Wordpress. Usually you can find under appearance>>customize or widgets. Then it will show on your web site. Example on my site http://affiliatehaven.net/ scroll to the bottom and you will see my ads appearing. Make sure you paste the FULL html from adsense or this to can make a mess of the code. Let me know if you need more help
I'm sorry, I guess I don't understand how to get to that point. It says create a new ad unit. Do I create an ad from an affiliate program? I was under the impression that there were already ads?
First login to adsense and select an ad group you want to promote. When you get the ad code copy and paste into your Wordpress widget. If you need more help contact me at johndhorsch@gmail.com or send me a message in WA.

Can someone help me with adsense?

An ad unit is just the format of the ad space you will use on your site. You have several choices, but the ones you pick depends on where room to put the ad is on your theme. My theme only has right sidebar ads available so I picked the medium size square. You're not creating the ad, just telling Google what size it needs to be to fill your available space, so to speak.. Once you do that, THEN you past it into a text widget or a plug-in, your choice. I just did this and I was blind to it in the beginning so it took me quite awhile, but it's working now. Send me a private message if you need more. Good Luck!

I go there and they have beautiful pictures! Says attribution not required? Am I missing something?
Yes, I have used a few of them with another online program that I used to promote. However, the "free" images are rather limited in scope. They do have other places online that they offer that has "free" images, but you have to pay a "free to use" fee. (?)
I emailed them several times because of the problems of trying to use their (morguefiles) free images. There were a number of problems that I encountered, plus, being so limited in scope, it did not take long before I completely abandoned their site.
I am not saying that it is bad, but just highly limited in their free images.
I even signed up to be a member, but still had limited success. Their support was much to be desired.
Now, others may find them to be a source of images, but because of my personal experience over a period of several months, I gave up on them and have never recommended them to anyone else.
But..........to each their own.

Very helpful question, thanks for asking it. I don't have any insight on the site however. Maybe someone will.
Hi Eryn! -

I have used them, just be sure to read the TOS and all the fine print with anything you use.
I hear pixabay is a pretty good one too.

I haven't and I use a lot of photos for my columns. I would actually never use a photo without attributing it to the source. Try freedigitalphotos.net. They send you an email after download with how you can credit the pic. Also, Kyle posted a few in a lesson like wikimedia commons and sxhu, I think. They're good. Hopefully, someone here has experience with morguefiles.com to advise you.
Has anyone every used morguefilescom for free pictures?
