Who Supports You?
No!
I'm talking about none of those. I'm talking about support. I'm lucky that I have an understanding and supportive husband as well as extended family who all believe in me. They know I am not going to be an 'overnight millionaire', but they constantly tell me that I can do it, and I will get to where I want to be.
Do you have support? Are your family and friends right behind you? Or are they a little suspicious about the idea of making money online?
You may have some people around you who are negative and constantly tell you that there is no way you are going to do this and you should go and get a 'real' job. Just be sure that they are not going to be able to share in your success when you do get there.
If they didn't stay with you through the struggle, why should they benefit from your success?
Be wary of who you let into your life - you will soon know who your real friends are.
Ciao for now my lovelies,

Thank you Jude.
In my case, my family members just let me do what ever I believe is going to make me happy. They know I am struggling but happy through this new endeavor and they are glad for me.
I consider myself very fortunate to have my family's and WA community's support.
Thank you again,
Lisa
Yes you are lucky to have such support. I don't even bother to tell many people any more what I am doing because they will think it's just another crazy scheme I'm involved in and I'm going to get taken advantage of. Until I start actually making money from this I am keeping quiet. Even the few family members I've told don't believe in me, so why bother!
You are very fortunate Jude. Except for the wonderful WA community and God, I have little support and many voices questioning my sanity about getting involved "internet schemes". They tell me I "will be sorry". That I wiil get "taken" and then maybe I will learn my lesson. What is my lesson? To stop dreaming, to stop creating, to fear life instead of living it? Thanks for a good post.
Growing up, my parents taught me to always surround myself with good people and the kind of people that could help me get to where I wanted to go. They taught me to sever toxic relationships in my life and dress for the job I wanted...not the job I had. It's always worked for me and still does.
Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes,
Karen
P.S. Regarding making money online, I read somewhere to treat it like a job and give yourself a 3 year deadline. If you're not making money by then, it's not a job...it's a hobby. Do you agree?
I have cited the idea of making money online to some of my friends and they immediately said "scam" I only have one friend who knows I want to make money online, I do not know his true views of the subject. My main support is myself and the wealthy affiliate community
Thanks Jude, I am always surrounded with negativity. I intend to keep my online business quiet from my family and some of my peers until I have solid proof that I have succeeded. There is an old saying that goes: "the proof is in the pudding".
When I get my fare share of pudding, that is when I will want to reveal.
A great quote indeed.
I only have the support of the members of this WA community, as I have been let down by family and so called friends many times during my life.
I often wonder who will be with me when I am successful in this venture.
Thanks again for sharing with me Jude :)
Cheers Tosh.
That is a great quote from Will Smith. It is very true.
We will have many "nay-sayers" in our lives when we are trying to accomplish our dreams.
But it is so funny when we make our dreams into a reality how they will re-appear and say, "I knew you could do it!" in hopes you will share your rewards with you.
You will find true character in the ones that support you regardless of what stage in life or business you are in.
Awesome post Jude!
I never told any of my family or friends about WA because I know their response would be "you should know better". I know they will think WA is one of those "pyramid schemes". They will raise suspicions at the thought of making money online.
It may take me a long time, but I will wait until the success happens before I tell anyone what my "secret" is.

I live in Sweden where there is a deeply rooted "Who do you think you are?-attitude" My sons know that I'm on WA, they haven't got a clue what I'm doing as they are teenagers that can't be bothered :D
The response, if I told friends and family, would not be cheering and support, quite the opposite. So I'm quietly plodding along here with the support of my WA-family :) Because that's what us Scandinavians do.

You can show them all when you get there :)
