Essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.

This is basically what Google WANTS.

There have been numerous "Google Product Review Algorithm Updates" since 2021 with many sites getting punished for having "Thin Affiliate Content".

Basically, writing a "product review" involves far more than simply rewriting the sales page of a product (something that a large majority of the internet do).

The reason for all these Google "Product Review" updates is because they wanted Original, Unique, and Sincere product reviews, especially if this involves the author HANDLING the product.

What better way to prove this by taking your own photos and videos?

Of course, as a personal blogger you can't purchase every single product you review (but remember that there are many HUGE websites who actually do this, and guess what? they're the ones that own the Google rankings), but your own images/videos will go a long way to proving that your review is Original and Unique.

And this is what Google has always wanted - More Authenticy.

Hi - if you own the product, then it's absolutely fine to take a photo of it.

And actually, it will build up greater trust with Google and your readers, as it shows you genuinely have personal experience of it.

The recommendation is to keep updating blogs 2 - 3 posts weekly for the foreseeable future. Obviously, the less you post, the longer it takes.

However, initially, you can post a lot more.

depending on how far you are through the course there is a section on adding google analytics - this will tell you what traffic you get...
or you can install independent analytics or boost statistics plugin to be more independent of google...

You are going to be leveraging Google Analytics (which is free) to do this, and it is part of the install process when you set-up the Site Kit plugin. Abie has you covered here but I will give you some advice I wish I knew before starting!

1- When you are checking off the boxes at the end of a lesson and you don't remember that specific item. Go back and find the link within the context and do those also.

2- You will do as Abie said and go through it step by step but some of the training is several years old. So there will be some items you will have to come back to because you may have only done 80 percent. So make friends with a notepad and pencil.
