I hate video
I have always preferred reading. Even on the screen. To me having to watch a video confuses my ability to concentrate on the message. I'm a nose in the book taking notes kinda guy.
But that's me. And things change.
These days I'm setting up a new blog. And I decided that I need to have a video.
It draws attraction, it converts and it's loved by Google so nothing else to do but to make one, or even two or more. YouTube is now the second largest search engine after Google, so we don't want to miss out on that.
But for now, I still hate it.
But this new blog isn't about me, it's about the reader. And if the readers want a video, I'll have to give them a video.
The upside is that it gives me an opportunity to learn another skill, and that is the most exciting thing about it.
So this weekend will be spent being creative while fiddling with new software.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I could have written the exact same post. I have reached the video section of Bootcamp and should be doing the same as you. However I have been avoiding it all day. I don't like watching them and the thought of making one fills me with dread. Let me know how you get on.

We'll see how mine works out. If they turn out like they play in my head now they will be amazing. But I suspect that it's not that easy :)
I have managed to avoid it all day but in my defence I have written and published a new post. No videos included... lol
I'm just the opposite, I can't wait to make my first video!
I'm also wondering what software you'll be using, please do share.
I will give an update on the software as soon I know I have made the right choice. I did tons of research, made a shortlist of 3 and then made a choice based on the total impression plus one key element that was very important to me. We'll see how it works out.
I always like to read your posts and I wish I had your mindset.
