Hi everyone,
I have recently upgraded my Publishable Mag Theme to its Premium version and I was suggested by the program to install following plugins:
- Yoast SEO<
I lost my sitemaps in the same way.
Better ask support to fix that for you
(ANd i came back to all in one seo)
I'm thinking about going back to all in one SEO too! I think it's just simpler and Kyle recommends it over yoastSEO.
I wouldn't change All in one SEO plugin if it wasn't specifically advized for my Theme. Now I'm completely puzzled.

Can anybody help me with yoast seo and sitemaps?

Hi Mia - You should be able to enable your sitemap in Yoast in the SEO dashboard.
Lots of debate on WA about AIO and Yoast and which is better.
If you are more familiar with AIO then stick with that.
If you want to try Yoast with your new theme then you will have to enable your sitemap.
Make sure it is verified on your Google Search Console.

Hi Mia - If you have custom colors from your theme you can set them the way you like. Here is what mine looks for my theme.
Unfortunately, I don't have all these options, just background color.
In fact, after further exploration, I noticed that my Theme has Premium option for a fee. Maybe if I upgrade to premium I will have all these color options available.
You have gotten what I think is the definitive answer from Marion. I hope that has helped you.

Hi everyone!
Is it necessary to fill out SEO Keywords box? You know when you open your posts/pages and you have them listed and there are columns: SEO Title, SEO Description
No. You do not want to pay any attention to the keywords meta tag. Google says that they and all of the other major search engines do not use that tag, it will not help your SEO, and we are to just ignore it and leave it blank.
The only tag to pay attention to, if you desire, is the description meta tag. You could also alter your title tag if you choose to add to what you already designated as your page or post title at the top of the editor window.
The Meta Description (SEO Description) is what Google places under your SEO Title.
If there are no Title and Description filled out on the bottom of the Post, this section will be empty.
I was just in this discussion regarding the AIOSEO plugin and this exact question. So I went on a several hour research tangent.
I finally ended up contacting Semper plugins directly and asked them since they handle the support for AIOSEO.
In our training, it tells us that the plugin (AIOSEO) does this the best for us so we need not do anything and just let it work its magic.
According to Semper and the documentation for AIOSEO, it stats that the plugin will auto-detect the SEO title and description and does a fairly good job at it ... but (there's always a but) They say for the best results to fill these in yourself and the reason being is by doing it yourself, you keep a humanized element to it. With the auto detect feature it can eliminate this more than 40% of the time. With the constant advances in voice command on mobile devices, the human element is becoming more predominant. We already have seen this just in keywords alone.
So, with the AIOSEO plugin, do you have to fill the SEO title & description? No, but for the best results and to maintain total control of your on page SEO, it's better to fill them in yourself utilizing your targeted keyword(s). Hope that helps. It didn't help me as now I have more work to do as I am going to go through my whole site now and optimize them all. Happy affiliating.
I just saw your reply and noticed you were asking about the KW meta tag also, sorry about that. That one there's no need to as the SE do not use the KW meta tag for any rankings as of 2009. Now double checking ....yup answered all of the questions now lol
The best way to enter your SEO data is as follows: With your page/post open, scroll to the bottom of the page/post and enter the title, description, and keywords. Be sure to update the page/post. Do the same thing for all media files that you upload.
As far as tags, you can enter them without them being visible to site visitors. There is no need to have them displayed in your sidebar, and honestly, that looks a bit tacky. The sidebar should contain pertinent info for visitors, such as menu, categories, even affiliate links.
Go into your widget area and remove any pre-populated theme widgets such as admin or other unnecessary info. There is no need for a user login unless it's a community site. Hope this helps Mia!

Hi Mia,
The use of logos fall under the “Fair Use Doctrine” so as a blogger, if you are blogging about their product you can use their logo to identify them to the product. Here is an article that can further explain this.

I would be interested in knowing this also but a knee jerk answer would seem you could do so if you are featuring a company or particular product...don't see why not...I can only see it helping them good or bad review...gets their name/brand out there...but I know nothing!
Mia, I normally swing by a location and take a picture if I cannot find a source that is free. Good question. Jay
