I like those questions, Kaju; # 1 & 3 would seem like the obvious ones to ask, but #2 is just as important.

I think that there is only agony in defeat when we don't learn from the defeat. But when we do - and take the necessary steps to apply what we learned - it can be quite glorious!

Thanks for the comment Veronica, make no mistake, if you have ever experienced this it is pure AGONY in the moment when you lose a brutally hard fought battle you've prepared so long and hard for, cause things just didn't go your way.

It's not until the next day or later when we are able to stand away from it, and look back and analyze/ learn from that defeat, that we realize the great benefit we've gained.

However in the end, taking the necessary steps toward improvement is quite glorious, and thus Failure is Beautiful.

Just to be clear, I didn't say that the glory would come immediately. The pain of defeat is real... but it's also temporary.

Correct!

Now go read my last "5 post" V, this will knock your socks off!!

In our life's journey we are up against all types of odds from every direction and which I regard as our competitors so agonies we face in life are not new, so whatever situation we face as such, we must not lose hope, there is always another day ahead to prepare for..

I couldn't have said it better myself Q. Thank You!

Kaju, I know it's hard, but please, never give up. I always remember what Ben Stein, an American writer, once said, : "It is inevitable that some defeat will enter even the most victorious life. The human spirit is never finished when it is defeated... it is finished when it surrenders", so never surrender, never!! Eventually, victory will be yours.

Thank You Druiz, I really appreciate your concern, If you have been following me, you would KNOW I will never give up, and I believe in the enduring value and utility in failure. I am already "retooling" for the next challenge, and it starts tonight!

Kaju

If you don't yet, I will happily return the favor when yours is up.:)

Hi Kaji,
How many times did Thomas Edison fail? He learned each time maybe only what "not to do" but with persistence he did succeed. We may not have to go thru 10,000+ failures before the victory, but the principal is the same.

Thanks for sharing.

We will be waiting for your great victory!.

Remember you only fail when you quit!

Bill

"Remember you only fail when you quit!"...this is THE most important advice one can ever give Bill. Thank You.

The Agony of defeat stung for a minute, but the beauty of failure and what I/we have gained from them far surpasses the setback.
That is why in my previous post I wrote that failure is beautiful.

Hey Kaju, uummmmm... I was thinking of you and your team.

I'm sure you and your team did the best effort possible and I'm still proud of you guys. Well done...

Practice makes perfect so we're told here... the cool part is 'jumping back into your game' and onward and forward to pursuing your goal to the Wealthy Affiliate Super Conference in Vegas.

Great article... thank you.
Monica

Hi Monica, YES you nailed it again! Back in the game today, feeling very good and ready to take on the Wealthy Affiliate Super Conference Challenge.

As I've stated before, failure is a beautiful thing, not everything is under your control when you take part in these big matches. But we learn and we improve. Always.

I am even more appreciative of my "failures" than my successes, and I'm ready to bring it on again with greater clarity of vision!!

Thanks for your wonderful support.

You're welcome!

Onward and forward...

Btw, I sent a reply to your PM. Sorry for the delay Monica!

Ok... oops...

Please don't be sorry....

Thank you Kaju,

Nicceee!

Kaju, great mentality and action plan! Defeat is never easy but to possess the mentality of taking something away from every defeat so as to improve oneself is one of the best ways to celebrate life and to edge closer to that VICTORY! 12 weeks, go get them at the next round!

Jude

Thank You Joo, you have a profound recognition of the most important ingredients to success. You will succeed with everything you do, no doubt in my mind. Our next victory starts tonight (new season) and the next Big Victory comes 12 weeks from now!!

Good start for the new season Joo, we defeated our opponent 12-2 tonight!

WOw, that’s a blowout! Congrats and way to go!

Thanks so much again Jude:) I have a new You Tube channel where I'm producing great content.

Hey, Kaju... Aren't you the one who was saying recently that it's good to fail?(Not exact words, sorry...)And now there comes this strong headline...I am not kidding, or teasing you, no... Just thinking....A person with strong writing skills can be persuasive in whatever they want...Funny , good and
a bit scary...:)

"The Agony of Defeat" is a real feeling, but that doesn't mean failure isn't good for us. In fact, this post not contradictory at all V, When you read the 2nd half of this post, this experience firmly supports that Failure is still a beautiful thing!

While this was indeed be a bitter pill to swallow, our team will bounce back from this defeat and be even more formidable and deadly this season. And that new season starts TONIGHT.

I can't wait to take advantage of this recent beautiful failure!!

Hi K. My comment was a veiled compliment(maybe too veiled). I meant to say you can be very persuasive in your writing...lol...
Sure wish you all success possible. Tonight, tomorrow, etc...:))

Your "veiled" comment brought us LUCK V - tonight we defeated our opponent 12-2! Nice bounce back!!

Wow wow wow! That WAS a bounce! :))

My neck is stretched back watching it!

Good for your neck, too...lol...:))

This reminds me of my yoga class on Tuesdays!

I also do quite a few neck exercises...some yoga, too, but at home.

Kaju, Love and respect for your attitude and efforts, my friend!

Don't really know which I gain and appreciate more in the end
of a real test of my abilities....the overcoming a challenge and standing victorious, or finding the strength in my inner core in defeat.

None-the- less, Glory and Humility are fleeting and pass as memorable plays on our characters ability to maintain balance.

Count me, in Las Vegas, in your favor

Thank you for those wonderful sentiments my friend, I will bode very well David with great supporters like you by my side. It's the character of the individual and how we respond to both winning and defeat that ultimately makes the person.

Tonight starts a new chapter, a new season of winning, and its great to have you by my side, brother.

This is a great post I am sorry that you did not win but you always have next year. You will do better in the new season. I have the faith and confidence in you to succeed. So go for it and make it happen both in sports and in business.

Thanks for your great encouragement, I really needed this. Yes, we will keep moving in a forward direction, and never give up.

You Ladies and gents are all encouraging me to do better, so I'm proud of this wonderful community.

You are so very welcome for the encouragement that is what I am here for. Best wishes to you and your team.
