I was wondering if the same affiliate link could be used for a second website I am working with. Please, advice..

Yes, sir, you can do that.

Thank you, Johane for the info.

Welcome, Druiz.

Hi - yes, you can, but you may need to register the second website with the affiliate program.

Great to know that. Thanks, Diane

Yes, you can. 👍🏆💰✨👍

Hey, Mega. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

Hi Daniel, Welcome, it is my pleasure. Keep it up! 👍🥇

Hey Daniel. Yes, you can use the same affiliate link as many times as you like in different posts.
Philip

Nice. I can kill two birds with one stone. Thanks, CandP

Hi Daniel,
Yes, that's fine. Your affiliate link is the page where your customer will hopefully make their purchase. It can come from anywhere. It's unique to you only!
Cheers,
Suzanne

Thank you, Suzanne for your answer.

I know we're using ALL IN ONE SEO by default but my theme has its own SEO.
Is is a good idea to activate both? Every time I write a page or post I have the choice of activat

What stage are currently in, for building the site?
IF you are building the site and have little to no traffic,
the best option would be
Look at a new page source with zero content added, with both SEO set to off.
Turn one of the SEOs on and compare the new page source.
Turn the first SEO back off.
Turn the second SEO on and compare the new page source.

Turn BOTH SEOs on and compare the new page source.

If you do not know what or how to compare, save the page source from each new page and share with us here.

If you require more detailed instructions, let me know.

We can certainly get to the root of your question!

I really want to know the effect both have on Google Search engine but it would take a long time for Google to crawl, meaning days or even weeks. The new page source wouldn't be a problem but messing up Google search engine if I switch is my biggest concern

The way you're giving me on comparing both SEO is really useful. I think think about it. I'll try it to see what happens. Thank you for the idea, Roybretton

The point of comparing the source is to determine what each SEO changes on the page. Maybe they are providing exactly the same data and functionality. Thus nothing would change or affect Search Engines.
One may add functionality and content the other does not. As long as this is applied correctly, additional functionality and content can only help.
We really can not determine how either are affecting Google, until we know what both are actually doing.

Thus the source HTML must be compared!

Which theme are you using that comes with SEO built in?

I'm using Melos Pro. from thinkUp Themes

What are the negative effects of activating many plugins? I can see they make our life easier as website builders.

I only have 5 plugins.
But then I’m not technical and my site is basic

I think 5 is a good number. Thanks.

As many as it takes to create the website that you want to share your message.

The caveat is that every plugin can have an effect on your website some positive and some negative.

Speed being top of the negative impacts.

When adding plugins, it can pay to do a speed test before and after.

Then evaluate whether the functionality gain can be balanced against the loss of speed or not.

Also before adding, ask the question why am I adding this plugin, what am I hoping to achieve.

Thank you for your wise answer, Alex.. I'll follow your advice

Everyone seems to have a different opinion about this, but the less the better. WA recommend you only use 5 or so, but that's really hard to achieve.
What you want to check is how well the plugin is created. I understand that some plugins will slow your website down if they are not coded well. If you can, look up reviews on a plugin that you want to install. This may give you some idea if the plugin is created well.
I've just installed my 20th plugin but I've heard of other members having many more.

Wow! 20 plugins, that's a lot, but if ithey don't affect your site speed then it's Ok. Thenk you for the review tip.

It is suggested in the training to only use 5 however often we use more depending on our needs when building.
The biggest issue with too many is slow site speed and you don't want this as your traffic will stop as people hate slow sites
I hope this helps
Vicki

Your info definitely helps, Vicki3. I agree with you. Thanks.

Glad to be of help
Enjoy an awesome weekend ahead and go well

Does a traffic click count when the "under construction" plug-in is activated?
I have a few websites blocked with "under construction" plugins and I was wondering if I am lo

If it is under construction, then yes, as the search engines can't see your text in order to rank it. You should only use it on new websites, while you get the design sorted, then open your doors as soon as possible

Thank you, Chris. That was really helpful.
