Simple, Short & Sweet Saturday!

After I posted last night, Monica called much later in the evening after she got off from work. We talked for a half hour.
Tommy never got back with me last night, so I wasn't going to bother him. I am sure that he got tied up over at his shop. Sometimes things are like that.
After all of that, I stayed up much later than usual while I got my big screen TV re-booted, among many other various tasks around the house.
I finally retired well after 1 am in the morning. I felt that the evening had been very productive.
Of course, this morning I woke up an hour and a half late, but, no matter, it was a Saturday after all. After completing the morning tasks, I went into the morning news feeds, and after that into the Wealthy Affiliate Community too!
Always treasures there, it seems. Not long after I finished there, I went outside and captured images of what looks like it would be a very good and relaxing day.
At the time, it was only the mid-70s. I had also been surprised that we had not had any rain at that time either.
It was not too long after that was accomplished that I figured it was time to lay back down for some more rest. The long evening had worn me out, I suppose. Kitty seemed a little wore out too!
I was quite surprised when I saw Monica calling (from work, as it turned out). That made the day much better to get back up to resume what I had been doing before that.
Of course, this might be a much shorter post for today depending upon some of the other activities that I have been working through in the house. After another hour or so, I decided to go check the mail, and see how the day had continued progressing.
The sun was out even fuller than it had been earlier. The heat was showing its higher temps too.
I ventured back inside the house realizing that it was about 2 pm at that time. I had to get dressed for a couple of errands before it got too hot.
Then was more procrastination on the computer and the time was droning on, so it was then or never.
I started by heading to two different sides of town.
There were two items that I needed on the west side of town, and then a few items that I needed on the east side of town.
Finally, it was almost time to head back to the house. I was definitely glad to be back home. I still had to call an Army buddy up in Montana that had texted earlier. I would decide if I would tackle that, or just wait until tomorrow.
No matter what, it will still be a busy evening!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A SUCCESS SATURDAY! FOR ME, IT JUST BEING SHORT & SIMPLE WAS QUITE ENOUGH FOR THE DAY. BESIDES, I MIGHT HAVE COMPANY AT THE GUZZLE TABLE TONIGHT, SO THAT STILL REMAINS TO BE SEEN.

I do a lot of work around here, I am a bit older than you are, and I don't have any distractions at the house, human-wise. EZ-PZ, and what difference does it make? It is what I choose to do, Nick!

Sounds like a busy day! Glad you were able to get those errands done. Saturday looked good, but this Sunday morning this sun is peaking through the dense cloud cover. There is a slight breeze, so that is good. Yesterday I was working on the book, cleaning the yard with the help of my brother-in-law and then went to pick up another granddaughter. We went out for supper at Burger King and then went to see the movie "IF". If you watch movies, this is one I would recommend! I have seen it twice now!
Anyway, I hope your Sunday is a good one!

It was definitely a busy day, and I was on the phone a lot last night as well as the computer, since the rainstorms were heading in.
I don't go to many movies, but I'll look into it.
Sunday will be quite peaceful.

Hi Jeff, Glad to see that Monica is keeping in touch, that's a good thing. Your Saturday weather looked great. Ours, however, is now up around 95 every day with fairly high humidity. The usual temps we experience in June-August, not usually in May! Hope your Sunday is equally as good. Cheers, Jenni

I don't blame you having a lie in on Saturday, Jeff.
Its nice to see the temperatures rising, summer is hurtling towards us and only four weeks to the longest day of the year for those of us that are the right way up, though our antipodean cousins will no doubt argue that we got it wrong.

I’m doing well my friend. Good test results from the hospital on Friday just gone and Monday coming is a holiday, what could be better.

It seemed like a nice, relaxing day, but productive for a spring time Saturday. I am immobile as I write. I guess I tore ligaments in my knee as I stepped (or fell off) a curb today. I guess the cane I need to walk for awhile makes me look distinquished. My wife says I look extinquished. Have a good evening.
